Discuss how you feel about Battle Front 1 and 2. What you liked about it. Graphics, Gameplay (story line), Action (shooting and stuff), Cutscenes, ect.


Also discuss what you think of the comming soon title of Star Wars Battle Front 3! Expectations, and what not.


( I have SWBF 1,2 for PS2, But I know they are for all systems. Mod can move to out of strictly playstation if desired)

SWBF 1 was descent, I liked the action. Which is basically all you could like about it.
SWBF 2 was ALOT better and I still play it (only online) Good graphics, Gameplay was pretty good, Love the action, Decent cutscenes.
SWBF 3 - I am hoping that it is as good as it is hyped up to be. Im not too exited I have to go out and buy a PS3 though.. But I guess it will work out for FFXIII which i'll have to get when it comes out.


Update: Just to refresh my knowledge of STBF 3 I was doing some research as of the release date, and there is no set date yet, and it is still in development. Ill post again when I find a release date.

I have Battlefront 2. Really fun game. Only played Single player, not online though. Feels really starwarsy which is how it should be.

Love the games, but I feel like the "good" side is always rigged to suck. And in SWBF 2, I still can't get past Coruscant in the campaign, because I'm a nub who can't kill some friggin' jedi.

I liked the campaign a LOT better in Battlefront 1. And I LOVED the Geonosis map. And the bespin map. And Rhen Var. It was really cool how they had 2 maps per planet instead of mainly just 1. I also liked the order feature. I liked Battlefront 2's features better though. Especially the ability to play as a hero. And space battles. Space battles are fun. Too bad the geonosis map was bad, and they got rid of the command feature. And my favorite maps weren't in it. I wish they could combine the best of both games and create an ultimate battlefront game.

There's a battlefront 3 now? I know they made one for the PSP but I never got that one....

I totally LOVED Battlefront 2 for the PS2, it was so much fun. I even found multi-player fun with my friend on the same team as me, which is very rare for me. Normally it's not fun unless you're competing against them xD Great game.

I LOVE Rhen Var, it is my favorite map in all the SW games

I love BF 1&2. The second was better, but some maps on the 1st were better. Plus I liked the fact that on BF1 you got aircraft (like X-Wings etc) to use on ground maps, where as with BF2 there were only tanks really to use, apart from on the Space maps.

SWBF2 was my favorite out of the 2 so far. the story line was little linear for my taste, and more roaming and enveloping story line could have been done, something more with the rebellion after the attack on Hoth, but it was good even then.

the multiplayer and the online play was pretty fun as well, especially when you're a really good sniper, and have loads of the medal upgrades, like increased health and the AWARD Weapons. it made the game more intersting to have a chance to play against others that were batter than you with the same weapons.

SWBF3 had better be good, i dont want it to sort of kill the trilogy with a bad story line or anything. hopefully the story will be more sprawling and have a choice to either as the Empire or the Rebellion for the story line, maybe even the droids. it would be cool to play through the story line from another view point.

They got rid of ships on ground maps for a reason, They are way too powerfull for say a shotgun. lol. But it should be coming back in BF3 and as well as new vehicles, maps, troops, dropable, pickupable wepons, even boats, Which I find strange but hey if it works.

Well this game is alot more like Halo then people would care to admit. You don't get this game unless your playing online. It just isnt fun otherwise.
You gotta admit though... Fighting someone with those powerups was a PAIN!! but a good snipe to their face or a rocket to the torso usually did the trick.

Yeah they were a bit strong, I could go through a game without a single death and have the highest kills just by flying an X-Wing, as a pilot so the ship was repaired.

I just liked the choice of being able to either launch a all out ground assault, or be supporting from above while taking down other air craft...

Even with other computer piloted enemy planes it was not really fair. I mean face it Humans are smarter than a GAME bot, no contest.

If the game is coming out (and a quick look it looks like it's not been confirmed as of yet) and if the game is as good as the others then it'll be a first day purchase for me. I want to actually have the game kinda before the online scene dies down, not many servers up last time I checked sadly.

Awesome and fun games all-round though. Although I'd only liked playing on the Republic/Empire teams.

I didn't say the game has a final release date. What I heard last time I looked into it was march 2009. I doubt it will even be out that year.

Awesome and fun games all-round though. Although I'd only liked playing on the Republic/Empire teams.

If your as good as me you can play on any team just give me a sniper, and a rocket if you piss me off.
