Bands with Final Fantasy References

So about a year ago i found out about a band A Skylit Drive very different in there genre of Post-Hardcore, with distinctive High pitched Vocals coupled with MetalCore sceams they where my kind of band.
after reserching them i found they where fans of FinalFantasy, there album Wires...and the Concept of Breathing contains many reference's to the series

• The song title "I'm Not a Thief, I'm a Treasure Hunter" is a quote from Locke, a character from the video game Final Fantasy VI.

• The song "Knights of the Round" is a summon in Final Fantasy VII

• The song "Balance" quotes Final Fantasy X in the chorus, also it is believed to quote Final Fantasy VII with the lyric, 'Live... You'll be the proof of my existance'.

• The song "All It Takes for Your Dreams to Come True" is a quote from the Shinra President in Final Fantasy VII.

• The song "City on the Edge of Forever" is a reference to the City of the Ancients in Final Fnastay VII.

• The song "This Isn't the End" is a quote from Aeris in Final Fantasy VII.

• The songs "In the Beginning, There Was Void" and "Pursuit Lets Wisdom Ride the Wind" are quotes from Final Fantasy V.

Pretty cool ehh? this band soon became one of my faverites

well there is a Glasgow based band called Rinoa!Rinoa!
i actually have no idea if this named after FFVIII's Rinoa but i assume it must be. how many other rinoas do you know. haha.
Also there is a singer dude name Owen Pallett who up until dec 09 used Final Fantasy as a moniker. He changed back ti his real name before releasing an album in Japan. Wonder why....

Yeah the Canadian musician Owen Pallett did music under the name Final Fantasy until a few months ago. It was a shame he had to change it really, I liked that alias!
