Sorry to open an old discussion but I thought Fran was Balthiers mother!

The problem is I can't find proof of it anywhere now.
I thought she and Cid did the naughty long ago...

as long as you don't have proof, of course it is not true. It doesn't make sense to me. It's wrong in all levels. Balthier doesn't seem to have any viera traits at all. Anyway, hybrid human-viera is called feol viera and they have blond hair, shorter ears and feet.
