Anime Bakuman

This thread's basically to discuss the series Bakuman, which is about 2 boys, Moritaka Mashiro and Takagi Akito, who want to fulfill their dreams of becoming mangaka. Written by Tsugumi Ohba and drawn by Takeshi Obata (same pair who made Death Note) and animated by Studio J.C. Staff.

Personally, I'm not too keen on the anime, but the manga and plot is awesome. I get a lot of inspiration to draw from Bakuman.

Anyway, as I've said in many other forums about Bakuman, the manga is awesome, I really like it a lot, I keep up with it, though I really want to see the ending. So far, it didn't disappoint me.

The Anime, however, is lame. I think it screwed it up, soundtracks are just as boring as ever, voice acting is somewhat poorly made, I hate the voice actor of Mashiro, he just fails in everything. (Kamijou Touma in Toaru Majutsu no Index) I thought the anime could have been done better but I guess meh, that's what the best J.C. studio has to offer.

I only used the search engine and used the term Bakuman and it didn't come up with anything specific, I'm really sorry >.<

Anyway, yeah, I had expected more out of the anime. I was thoroughly disappointed. I mean, it's a series about 2 guys who want to make it big as mangaka and hopes for an anime. The anime shouldn't have fallen way behind the level of the manga. =3=
