Backwashing

Uh, no, not really. If I take a sip of something, I usually swallow the drink in my mouth. If it's someone else's drink I don't do it either, because it'd piss me off if someone did it to my beverage.
 
I do it when I'm really bored, and most of the time I don't really notice that I do it
 
Sometimes I do, but the majority of the time I don't. It's just proper etiquette to prevent yourself from backwashing when someone else is drinking out of your drink. xD

Anyways, it's unavoidable.
 
It is quite un avoidable. haha. I just find it nasty to see chunks of someone else's crap in your drink. That just makes me sick and I just put it down or throw it away. lmao.
 
Do I backwash? Ugh no. Even though it's all going to the same place anyway...I'm simply repulsed by the sight of 'floaties' in my drink. I never (repeat) never share my drink with my friends; though they be my friends, I still know what disgusting things they are all capable of. I don't even share drinks with my own dad. Gross.

The only person I share drinks with is my boyfriend, since we legitimately swap spit on a frequent basis anyway.

I don't like to share my drink either. Only if they don't put their lips on it. haha.
 
Oh of course if it's some stranger, you'd want to avoid drinking in the same glass as much as possible. xD

You never know what might be in it; and that visible stuff, ugh, just no. Never had that bad experience of seeing bubbles of spit on top of the water/drink. :monster:
 
Sharing soda is a different story, since it typically dissolves any physical item that scathes it's surface within seconds. XD
 
But it's still nasty seeing all the bubbles in there when someone actually does backwash. Then again, it is full of bubbles anyways, but sometimes, just sometimes you get that foamy thing. XD
 
If its my own drink I couldn't give a damn, so long as huge disgusting and obvious chunks aren't being reinserted. I'm much more considerate on the rare occasions that I'm sharing a drink. Although you've got to take into account that no matter what, sometimes even a slight amount of backwash is inevitable, so take into account the personal hygiene of anyone you share your drink with.
 
Well, if I knew I had a buddy that gave oral sex and stuff...NO! I would not even think twice at giving him/her my drink.
 
Ughhhh, backwashing is disgusting. I could never do it. It disgust me when people have drinks with pieces of food floating around.

I use to know a girl who backwashed all the time during lunch. Her water had chunks of food in it floating around. It ruined my appetite.

I hate when people backwash and then ask you do you want some. wtf, I dun want none of that! xD.
 
I hate it when people backwash my drinks, I give it right back to them.
I don't think I backwash too much, It might slip out a little bit.
 
I try not to backwash if i can help it, but using a straw its nearly impossable not to backwash
 
Why would you let other people drink out of your own drink? o.0
I wouldn't even bother 'cause I know it's inevitable that they'll backwash and all that other disgusting junk will occur.

Unless of course...you're talking about 'loved' ones. ;)
 
Well, you can always tell them not to put their lip on it. In that case, they'd have to hold the bottle in the air and aim for their mouth. rofl. good stuff when they miss.
