FFX-2 Auron's Voice In FFX-2

I just checked it out it is the same actors voice according to wiki.

Yeah Auron and Jecth talk to yuna and im pretty sure Braska does as well.
I forget what they said but i know that Auron said "Yuna your friends are your strength"
 
I remember hearing voices but I never knew Auron was one of them...I think I just assumed it was Nooj, Gippal and Baralai because I was a bit preoccupied with not dying. I am going to have to go back and replay now....I missed Auron in X-2 so much:(
 
No, Auron wasn't one of the voices in this game. It was Braska and Jecht who talked to Yuna, not Auron. I think it says it in the strategy guide as well that it's just Braska and Jecht Yuna can hear, not Auron.

I think they're right; I'm 100% positive that I heard wee Matt McKenzie throwing in his two cents' worth. xD
 
I just recently beat the game and I don't recall ever hearing Auron once while I was fighting Vegnagun...oh well, whatever.
 
Im not sure if its when you fight vegnagun, or shuyin w/e he's called but I defo heard him somewhere near the end, because I flat out fan girl squee'd :wacky:
 
i noticed Aurons voice, but it didnt really supprise me. i had to play through a few times and actually listen to it to get all of what he was saying, but it still wasnt a big deal for me.

all it was was basically Auron screaming like a cheerleader: You can do it YUNA! You can do it awlll nieght loooooong!
 
Hahaha xD I just wonder if maybe his voice was mixed in with Braska's and Jecht's and I just didn't hear it, or maybe I was too focused on the battle and staying alive and just...missed it? :wacky:
 
I noticed it too, but I wasn't sure whatever it is Auron or Nooj or just someone else.
I wasn't really paying much attention ~focused on destroying that huge machina~

I don't really remember what he said. I think there were other parts he spoke, like "We had no choice" or something when Yuna said he don't like Nooj's plan.
 
Rinoa -- it had been several years since Matt McKenzie had voiced Auron, and he may have forgotten some of the style he'd adopted for Auron -- it wasn't a natural speaking voice, but slightly deeper, richer, more deliberate. I noticed he didn't quite sound like Auron for a few lines in Kingdom Hearts, either, until he settled back into character.

Short, fast clips are the hardest to get right when you're out of practice!

It was hard to tell Auron's voice from Jecht's in FFX-2, but Auron definitely said:

"This relic's getting rusty."
and
"Yuna, your friends are your strength."

I'm not sure if the same Auron, Jecht and Braska lines are triggered in every play-through. I think they may be like the combat lines for Yuna, Rikku and Paine: there's a recorded batch of 'em, and they play at random (in this case, during the boss battles in the Farplane).

The idea is (I assume) that the spirits of the dead who care for Yuna are hanging around on the Farplane encouraging her.

There is one other place where Auron appears in FFX-2, but it's nearly impossible to get: Gippal's sphere. It's painfully short, but it has one of the best Auron lines ever!

There's no explanation, but it's obviously supposed to be a flashback to FFX, when Yuna and her guardians got scattered in the desert outside of Home after Sin transported them there from Lake Macalania. That was post-Operation Mi'ihen, so Gippal would've been on the run because of the Crimson Squad mess.
