Have you ever noticed that some of the men In FFVII Advent Children look like girls? I think that because their skin is to smooth looking and the eyes are just girly. before I saw the movie, or ever heard of final fantasy, I saw this AMV with cloud in it and I'm just like...Is that a boy or a girl?

the japanese have been known to over-feminize their men in anime and such, and FFVII is no exception :P
 
Since this is an Advent Children discussion thread, I'm going to move it there.

As for my opinion, I really didn't feel that they did make the males look feminine. In fact, they made Cloud drop dead hot. I think Square did an awesome job at creating the characters and making them look how they would look realisticly.
 
Cloud was way manly, if you ask me. He looks really hot. Hmm, feminine, eh? Lol I guess the closest would be Yazoo and possibly Kadaj. I mean, I knew they were guys, but they did look a little feminine due to the erm, tight clothing they wore, their slim figure, as well as the long hair. Very different from Sephiroth. (And Sephiroth looks hot too!)

Other than that, the guys look like guys, and the girls look like girls. Although Denzel kinda looked feminine too...


 
it was just before i ever heard cloud say something, or seen the movie, and ever heard of FFVII AC, I saw this amv and I seriously thought he was a girl OMG!
 
Any girl with that hairdoo (Spikey blonde) would probably has some self-esteem issues. Which Cloud has, so I see your point :D .

It's just that the eyes are a bit small and girly and the face is like totally..just not proper for a man.
 
I watch a lot of anime so I guess I'm good at telling the difference. He looked like a guy to me.
 
Well, they did look a little girly, but that's to be excepted by reasons already listed in this thread ^^
 
It's just their culture man, nothing wrong with it. hell, the Japanese are probably looking at some of the women we have in our country (those of us who live in America) and saying amongst themselves: "Dammmmn Kinochi, them Americans have some butchy looking girls over there!"

Nothing personal, and it's not overly weird as some may think; it's just culture. We have cats as pets, they eat them for meals. All depends on values and norms and what's deviant in a given society.
 
Honestly, I'm not sure how much it has to do with cuture, Busta. Did you see Cloud driving that motorcycle? And when's the last time you could see one of them drive? :P <- JOKE

lol But yea, it's all cutural. They don't even look bad in AC. In a lot of Japanese games/animes the guys really really look like women. Final Fantasy is pretty tame about it.
