Whenever you're in an art museum, or reading in an art book, do you usually look for specific works of art that suit your genre?
What I mean is, do Baroque paintings tickle your fancy? Abstract art catches your eye? Etc. etc.

As for me, it's Baroque realism.
The lighting just makes the scene all the more dramatic, in my opinion.

Definitely realism as well, although I do have a few favorites too, such as abstract and surrealistic. But realism has always taken my fancy since I absolutely love how the artwork seems to come alive, almost as if you can reach out and touch it. There is a lot of emotion, not to mention that the work are usually excellently done.

Abstract is also quite fun. I can stare at abstract paintings for a long time and have an entertaining way of trying to decipher the work. I like to see if I can find the meaning behind the work and what goes on in the artist's mind as they piece everything together. Truly is quite magnificent.

I love Pop Art, not that I really go to art museums alot...like ever, last i went was with school. All the landscapes after landscapes just look the same

Pop art is bold and bright and cool. Abstract is quite funky aswel, used to love looking at that shit, especially that escher stuff and some dude beginning with B whose naem I cant remember...

Pop art wins for me though
