This is a guide for new RPG Players who need help.
RPG Control Panel- Edit Profile
You get taken here when you first click on RPG. Choose a name for your character here. If you like, you can also choose an avatar for your RPG Character- upload one from your computer, paste a link to one on the Internet, or choose one from the gallery. Neither your username nor avatar need to be the same as the ones on the board. Once you are satisfied, click "Save Changes" to save your settings. After this, click "World Map".
World Map
There should be two icons on your map of this area: Halloween Town and Larai Village. Halloween Town contains enemies way above your current level (1) and items which you can't afford yet. This leaves Larai Village. Travel here to start your adventure...
Larai Village
This village features an inn where you can stay for free, fully restoring HP and MP (Mary), a shop where you can buy a shield, some basic armor, and a potion which restores a little more than half your max HP (Elizabeth). Under Monsters in the Area, there are 3 Imperial Soldiers, and under NPC's in the Area, there's an old man named Ralius. You can't fight the soldiers right away though, as they will overpower you. Speak to Ralius to learn about the current situation and to obtain a shortsword. This is a relatively simple blade which weighs the same as its attack power. Equip it by selecting Equip Character and selecting it under the pulldown menu next to Right or Left Hands. Once equipped, click on the button on the bottom of the console to update your character's changes.
Feel free to buy the Leather Jacket or Old Shield, but at this time they're a waste of money. Enemies automatically aim for the weakest area of your character, and the two pieces of said armor do not give fortification to your head and legs; they only cover your arms and chest. The best choice would be to hold off for now.
Before heading to the Graveyard, purchase two Healing Herbs for the upcoming battle. To fight the soldiers, scroll down the menu in the upper-right corner of the game screen until you see Larai Graveyard. Click on it, and click the Visit button underneath this menu (this is how to visit an area). A menu will pop up, showing that you need to walk there. Choose the option all the way to the right to enter your very first battle.
