Omg it so takes the piss, you get f way through completing someting - or in my case about 80% and you realsie you can't complete the job because THERE IS A PART MISSING

I have 3/4 of a christmas tree up, went to stick the top section up only to find I'm down one plastic thingymabob to slot the top section of branches in

I'm well not amused, now I have to go through the STUPID cupboard again, to find said imporant plastic peic of crap and I just KNOW it's not gunna be there, I bet Ive accidentally binned the damn thing

We always decorate a tree out back of our house with colorful lights and this year we mis-judged it and put to many lights on so we ran out of slack when we went to go plug the cord in the outlet.

This Pine tree's kinda tall, so I had to go back up the ladder and un-do the lights and then back up again to restart it all over before we could call it 100% complete. Plus it was freeeeeeeze'n out there@ night.

I already have my christmas tree up thankfully it did not fall or break or anything but this year there is just small lights on it. Last year I had really big lights and a glowing star but now its just ugly anyways how do you hate christmas? Christmas is a nice time of year Grinch!!! I thought you liked it when your heart started getting bigger.

Yea, I know what it's like to get almost finished with a job or project only to find that some small little detail or tool isn't present and prohibits you from finishing. When I was working in industry, it would be a fairly common event. I remember one time I was installing metal plates on the sides of a suction box (drew air away from the material) so the suction would increase... but the metal plates had to be fitted to fit within the suction box. And since it was a curved surface, it literally took 3 or 4 attempts to get them fabricated correctly because I wasn't allowed to bring in the toolers, even though they'd signed a CDA (Confidential Disclosure Agreement). Pissed me right the fuck off...

Oh hell, the feeling of I-am-almost-done-with-this-right-after-....

And then the fun stops.

It's especially bad in combination with the I-am-going-to-take-a-shower feeling. When you get in there and you feel great only to realize that you are out of shampoo and you have to dry off, get out (your hair feeling somehow much more dirty than when you first got in the shower.) drive to stupid wal-mart, get the stupid shampoo, drive all the way the hell back home only to realize it is 3 am already and you don't want to take a fucking shower anymore. So you pass out on the couch and wake up feeling like a homeless man.

..... what a way to spoil a perfectly great feeling shower.

But back on topic, jigsaws are a bugger, everyone I have there seems to be a peice missing xD

Also, I was making a mecano car once was at it ages, only to find a really small but VITL part was missing...well, 2 of them actually....my step dad had raided the meccano box stole these to parts and used them on one of his army toys >_>

but yea i can see how that can be annoying, for instance i rented final fantasy 8 first, got really far and boom, it freezes during the lunar cry. i was like nooooooooooo

and as a similar tale, one of the plastic legs for my tree is missing so mine doesnt stand up straight...how fun

I almost had another moment today. Me and my Girlfriend were going to make a pie. But before we did anything, i remembered somehow about this thread, and remembered to check if we had everything before we started. God only knows what would have happened if we would have got to the end and discovered that there was no sugar in the cabinet to put in it, or half the ingredients we needed...

Oh how i would have raged if i had lost my chance at having pie. But fortunately, i was saved by remembering this thread lol. So thanks
