So how many people were crazy enough to complete alllll 300 missions?

I'm 75% complete so far, and it's taking me an absolute AGE

They are repetetive, boring and just generally painful

I think 300 is way too much, but Ima soldier on and get them all done if it kills me

...I did them! Heike soul isnt that great though... i got in a mission with ~500000sp w/ heike soul, at the end i had... 6 SP! But as it has auto-curse, it really doesnt matter. To get sp, steal 99 pheonix d's and buy a load of dualcasts!

I think I did like...5 missions and got bored of them. Then near the end I realised that doing missions was the best way to gain the best items, so I went on a mad rush doing loads of them.

But...I got really bored of them really quickly, and ended up finishing with like...only 27 missions done xD

So far I only have 48% of them done, and I don't really have any plans to finish for awhile. At first I was determined to complete them all, but there's just so many! I might go back and try again whenever I decide to replay the game.

Im right at the end of the game now, so the only thing I can do is go straight to the final boss.....Im 78% complete now, how much progree have I made in 4 days, and it's not like Ive not been playing it, because I have >_<

This is singly(?) the most annoying sidequest of any FF game, and Im even including Blitzball in that >_>

Ahh . . . Blitzball. it wasn't that bad, it's just the soundtrack was really boring which really blew it up.
I'm right before the final boss in my second time playing and I've only completed 69% of the missions, it really takes ages to finish them and there have been tons of monsters who can inflict death and I don't have anything to prevent that :gasp: I have around 80,000 HP and then some stupid wolfy jump at me using Death Fang and then I'm dead, it's a total annoyance.

Theres a mission somewhere that you can get a saftely bit from, I have afew now, shame you cant trade itms over the internets >_>

Anyway......I'm 97% complete, I was up all night doing them, those latter 9 missions are absolutely terrible, I wanted to cry

I decided to have a crack at Minerva and died instantly, fuck knows how Im gunna get through that, but yeah, almost 100% complete, although Im gunna have to keep replaying a missionover and over so I can get my SP BACK UP SEEING AS i HVE BEEN DOING ALOT OF FUSING AND ITS expensIVE

omg, I sorted that caps lock once >_>

Edit* Only got Mierva to go, took quite abit of hp off but I died >_>

Woohoo, all missions complete :nana:

What a horrible arduous task, I will NEVER do that again, it was awful

Congrats! The vast amounts of missions were painful to get through, but I found it a good travel game, as it's pretty much just clearing the missions. Basically, what I say is, "What else are you going to do for the next 6 hours?" The large frequency of random encounters just slowed down the missions and seeing the same map over and over gets really boring fast. But at least you have proved your endurance by finishing all of them :)

the missions were repetative to the point that they actually made the game boring.

300 missions, one cut scene from all of them (Mission 300 the Reigning Diety), and one not so great item that took almost 30 hours to complete (first run). Heike Soul is good if you plan on doing multiple play throughs to get every item and materia in the game and all of the side-missions as well (Aerith's flower carts is an example).

Other than that, its not that good of an item because of its auto-curse feature. it has loads of other positive features, but you can get the same things with other accessories.

its just like the Desert Rose and Earth Harp from the weapons in the original, and the Omega Shield and Dragon Ticket from FF5.
its just to show that you did something.
