Age for sex?

Well.. Some people have sex when they are like 12-15 years old, some when 16-17, and then anytime over that, its legal (at least where I live). Hell, sometimes people who are 18+ are having consensual (sp) sex with minors. What are your beliefs, or your thoughts on this?

I didnt have sexual intercourse till I was 17. I felt ready and we both want ed to do it. He was 16, but had already lost his viriginity long before me. I dont think there is the right age for sex. Yes we have the illegal limits, but not many people listen to those anymore, well not in the UK anyway. Look at the underage pregnancy!

Some people have told me they had sex at 14 cause they felt ready and knew what they were doing was right. I dont judge people on when they lose their viriginity, its up to them at the end of the day if they want that choice.

TBH, Im not sure where I fully stand on this subject. I mean I have a 15 year old brother and I know for a fact hes probably no longer a virgin. The girl hes with whose 14 probably isnt one either. Its the genertation that frankly doesnt care.
 
Well its wrong for like a 17 year old to Do It with like a 15 year old - thats just wrong.

i think that people should wait till there like 16/17/18 to have sex, as long as its not with a drastically older or a drastically younger person because then your either being pressured (by the older person) to have sex or your just being slightly perverted and out of bounds - if your pressuring a younger person to have sex - like a 18 year old pressuirng a 15 year old - not right.
 
Should they really be punished if they're not 18, Adamant? Even if both are under 18? And Saphire, thats pretty much the same story my friend has. Except the ages are 1 or 2 off, and she was the younger one.
 
I lost my V Badge when I was ... -5,000 points to self for just saying "V Badge"... anyhow when I was 18. She was 20 at the time. Not bad looking. Kinda a goofy face... but skinny... nice body.

Honestly, people are different. Some people lose theirs very early on. Others wait a long long time. Honestly, I don't really see the point in waiting... but I also don't see the point in having sex with someone you don't care about. Flings are fun but I've never messed around with anyone I didn't like as a person and more. I don't know how some people just do that kind of thing based on any other criteria. It doesn't have to mean that every time is magical... it's just sex. But it should mean that you can at least stand to hold a conversation with the person before you jump between the sheets and do the nasty with them.

And as someone who is 21 and probably shouldn't date anyone under the age of 18, I can't say I'm really attracted to younger women... but I probably wouldn't deny a relationship if that was the only problem with it. 17 is the youngest I could see myself going. That's really low too... but even so at age 17 I knew enough about sex to decide whether or not I wanted to. So even though the age gap is large, it's not like you're doing something wrong. As for people who date preteens and that kind of junk... it's so horrible I can't even begin to describe how disgusting it is.
 
I tend to go for younger men, but only afew months younger. I feel perverted or dirty if I slept with someone younger then 21! I dont know, Id feel wrong. I mean Ive had offers from an 18 year old and I was like "Sorry I dont think so! Your 3 years older then my brother, now shoo!"

It depends on the state they live in. If they are under the legal age of consent, they should be forced to walk the plank. If they above the legal age of consent and have sex with someone under the legal age of consent, they should be forced to walk a plank several feet above a larger piece of driftwood, that will shatter on contact and send them plummeting into the shark infested water below. If they are minors and have kids, the kid should be forced to walk a small diving board elevated over a bathtub.
 
There isn't a set age in which it's okay, as people all mature, physically and mentally, differently. I was more mature at 15 than some kids in my hall now are, and they're college freshmen. The only suggestion I can make to you young'ns out there is to not rush it. It'll happen, and you'll realize that it isn't that big a deal to still have your v-card. I wish I had my first few times in much different circumstances than how they really happened, as you'll always remember the first time.
 
My boyfriend lost his virginity to me and enjoyed it. But said he couldnt understand what all the tension and being scared was about. Poeple would tell him that sex is a precious thing and you should choose who you first sleep with carefully, hence putting him off cause with the others it didnt feel right to sleep with them. Yet he said it felt right with me and was more then ready.

I remember wondering "What was all the flipping fuss about?" after my first time. Yeah I enjoyed it, but I couldnt believe this is what 16 year olds had gone on about to me when I was 14!

He was probably more nervous about you enjoying it. A bunch of my virgin friends up here are afraid to lose it to girls up here because they fear that the girls will laugh/tell their friends/whatever. It's silly.
 
Hahaha my first time I was so bad. When I compare myself in bed to how I was back then it's just pathetic. hahaha Seriously, it was more like a slow twitch back then anything else. I couldn't keep good rythm. I've managed to solve that problem. lol *wink wink*

My first time it didn't matter if I sucked, it was hers too. What did suck was the circumstances under which it occured. >_<
 
Yea, I know what you mean. It must've been hard. I wouldn't know what you were talking about unless you gave me this picture of it. It's also gotta suck beign caught in the act, especially on your first time.
 
15 and below is too young

16.... ok i suppose... its legal here

17 and up is fine to me.

Its just young pregnancies that cause problems for themselves and for others... such a headache
