Maybe she was in your party the most?

I got Lulu in Guadosalam (you also have a conversation concerning Yuna getting married). I told her 'Too late'. If it had been Rikku asking I would've said I liked her ^^; Her reaction is cute.
 
Could someone please elaborate for me on what the Macalania and Snow Mobile scenes are?

The snow mobile scene is when they're going to the temple, right? I have Lulu for that since she's the strongest.

But what about Macalania?... And the airship scene?
 
So, I'm quite sure I didn't know FFX had affection levels till just now. lol.

Everytime I got the scene in Macalania it was with Lulu. =/. Who are the others? Also, I still've not gotten Blitz Ace. >___<!!! I am so behindddd.
 
Like Rikku and Tidus together, so usually try and make Tidus hit on Rikku ..

Though only managed to get the Rikku x Tidus scene together while on the way to the temple to Macalania..

Because Lulu is too hard to avoid, and she always gets in the way. Like Lulu so don't want to say anything mean to her so Tidus and Lulu always have the chat together outside Seymour's house. Not Rikku, grhh..

That was weird, I got Lulu for the talk outside the mansion, but Rikku for the snow ride even though I barely managed to use her in that space of time o_O

I'll say again, affection levels affect -

Who jumps off the airship after fighting Sin's fins.
Who rides with you on the way to Macalania (Yuna not available).
Who throws the Blitzball in Blitz Ace.
 
Well it doesn't matter how much you use the person in the party, it matters how much you converse with them. The first person you converse with at a scene where you have the option to talk to anyone is the one who gets the affection points. The only times being in a party affects somewhen is when you heal them or revive them, but they won't do as much justice as conversation at this point. So even though you didn't use Rikku much, you tended to talk to her first when given the opportunity.

And also, you can't talk to Wakka on the snow mobile ride either. I think he's still pretty angry about Rikku being an Al-Bhed at this point and basically doesn't want to talk about it. Rubavimmo dryd rambc!

Yeah believe that Rikku and Tidus look cute together !

Think Lulu has the highest affection points, so if you say nothing/ do nothing to anybody you just get Lulu automatically.

Oh and you get Auron and Kimihari( don't know how to spell his name ) on the snow ride and get them to shout something to Tidus while dropping from the airship.
 
I've only ever had Lulu on the snowmobile. I didn't realise that there were other ways that scene could go! I've just started again so I am going to try with someone else.
 
I had no idea about the affection levels until I read about them on this forum, haha.

And WOW, I just looked up the four different rides to Macalania (all I've ever gotten in-game is Lulu), and the ride with Kimahri is pretty insightful. It was the most I think I've heard him express emotion, funnily enough, even though it isn't much. It was the most interesting dialogue between Tidus and Kimahri, I think. I suggest viewing it!

The Auron ride...meh. And the Lulu ride...meh.

The ride with Rikku, I have decided, after seeing all four, makes the most plot sense. The dialogue they have was actually awesome to hear, and the first time that the point of conversation during the ride to Macalania seemed to even matter for the game. I'm going to try to get it next time I play, even though I want the Yuna affection points to be highest...haha.
