Crisis Core Aerith

Aerith from FF7 and Aerith from CC seems to me like quite a different person.
Off course she is the same in some way, however I can see change in her behaviour. What do you think?

I think in Crisis Core she was a lot more innocent and rather shy.
As the story goes on, Aerith seems to get more confident through
Zacks contagious carefree attitude. By the end of the game and onto
FFVII, she seemed to have matured more but still had that air of
confidence and twisted humour (Clouds dress, etc).

That's just my view though.
