Honestly, I can't really give any advice that you haven't been given already.
I was just lucky to find a woman who shared interests and had a lot in common with me.
Although I'm still a bigger gamer than her, she's probably better than me at certain action-oriented games (like KH).
In fact, yeah. If she's not averse to the disney universe, why not try her on Kingdom Hearts? Shares many elements with the FF series (equipment and level management, abilities, HP & MP, etc.) but is a little more fast-paced (just in case turn-based battles would a turn off for her) and is a little more mainstream. The familiarity of the places and characters in the game might help. And it helps that the games come with easy difficulty modes.
