Adolf Hitler

Wouldn't concentrating on empire subsequently conflict with his killing the Jews? It was inevitable anyway as he was carrying on his doctrine blindly and fervently.

But yes, that would've been much more efficient and it was to an extent as Germany's satellites demonstrated. There just wasn't that many countries that were willing to submit to his power. Yes, they actually wanted to.

Oh he was already a great leader, oratorically that is.
He was fine militarily until he got drugged by his physician.
Then he started making the stupid mistakes....

Now, if he actually wanted to spread flower power, that would've been different. So yes, his priorities were totally screwed up. But then again, what dictator doesn't?

Let me count the ways:

1.) 'Invading' Britain. Big mistake #1
2.) Not knocking out the British.
3.) Not knocking out the British in Africa.
4.) Invading the USSR *never a good idea*
5.) Declaring war on the US even though technically he didn't need to.
6.) Not destroying Moscow instead he directed his armies to Stalingrad.
7.) 'Bleeding out' the Russians instead of destroying their disorganized armies.
8.) Stand/ Hold your ground stance. No retreat.
9.) Not reading his history.

9 too many if you ask me.
