A question. Zomg Sailor Moon RP?!

Well, since the RP forum is still under construction, and we have no other proper place to discuss it, I would like to ask something here and now. It's a question with an idea that you might find ridiculous; it's a question that you might laugh at; it's a question that by all means some of you would want to avoid due to nostalgic reasons.

Here it is. . .SRSLY:

I'm thinking about starting an RP based on an old anime series Sailor Moon. Would any of you like to join?
 
I would not. I never liked the show, so I doubt I'd like an RPG about it.
 
Glad to see another Sailor Moon fan. ^_^ I haven't seen it in a few years since it went off the air, but I still remember a good bit about it. :P *Totally proud to be a Sailor Moon fan* I really remember liking Pegasus and I think, a movie called Sailor Moon S? It was like the Piper, these humanoid things playing flutes to guide children to this world where they'd sleep forever or somethin' like that...

I really wouldn't mind joining. My character was okayed for Original, if I just mix her up abit for the Sailor Moon I could still RP in that world, couldn't I? *Bit confused*

Indeed, even I laughed at the idea at first when my friend presented it. But then she introduced the plot, which I immedietly got hooked on.

Well here's the thing, I just don't want it to be based on Sailor Moon, I'm hoping to bring out a decent spin-off RP of it. Actually, this idea was conceived by a good friend of mine. So the design is pretty much set up, and it had a very nice storyline to it.

There were two versions of this RP. Version 1 made current existing Senshi/Scouts to be playable characters; as well as minor ones like Tuxedo Kamen/Mask. Version 2 made you create a Senshi of your own, based on stars instead of planets, and Sailor Venus is the only returning original. However, both have the same plot---which I'll explain only if I see more interest in this.
 
I would, because I remember a smexy man in it, but...I only saw like 3 episodes. =[

I admit it! I was a fan of Sailor Moon as a kid. And I'm a guy, which makes it that much more weird, but who cares... I know the series is rather dated nowadays and it's girl-focused, so, as to RPing something similar to it... I'll have to pass until I see how different it is.

Different? Well, my friend made it so it looked very faithful to the anime, in that the entire plot would fit perfectly into an arc. We have everything from "here comes a new villain!" to "a massive threat on earth--TOKYO!".

However, if you really want to know, we'll have male characters, and I don't mean just Mamorou/Darien; a.k.a Tuxedo Kamen.
