A Possible Theory of Uniting two Final Fantasy Games

Well in X-2 the character Shinra looks at the Calm Lands and say something along the lines that from here he could figure out a way to use Spira's life force to make enrgy for eveyone. This is basically a sort of crossover of FF7's Shinra corporation. Now if these two game were in the same world a lot of things would have to be made up. Such as the pyerflies somehow evloving into the lifestream. But share your opinions and theories of this.

This idea will never happen, it may have been intentionally done like this, or maybe not. However, this could be fun: What would the FFVII world be like if crossed with the FFX world? Well, for start, the Shin-Ra corporation should take advantage of the Al Bhed Machina, and vice versa, in hopes of defeating Sin

If this actually were to happen FFVII and FFVIII would be the best choices then we`d finally see who`s the best of the two.

FFX and FFVII would work good tho

Wow, this would quite a crossover. You have Meteor threatening the world, and then Sin threatening the world as well. Also, I think the Ancients and Summoners would kind of be the same. The Ancients speaking to the planet, and the Summoners speaking to the Fayth. I think it would be cool.

That would be very interesting, crossing these two games. Perhaps it was just a coincidence that Shinra said that. However if they do combine the games in some way then we'll sure here about it

.............well the opinion wasent really senncesary (damn i cant spell!) I mean anyone can tell this is just what we think would happen not wanting this or hoping this will happen. but anyway

the meteor-sin thing is quite intresting(spelling dammit!) though how would blitzball fit into the cross? I mean how would it be created? Cause i mean i think you would need blitz to have a FFX.

Let's establish a few things: There was no need for the immature sticking-out-of-the-tongue. I told you not to be so plain ... :mellow: Oh, jeez, stop the world, the mans heart has stopped from shock! There are far worse things to say in this world, that was merely a friendly suggestion. I suggest you get over it.

Anyway, the cross-over idea is good. Sure, it wont happen, but imaginitive minds can cause such smiles, don't take that away from people.

I find that it would be interesting to say the least. I mean the clashing of all the parts of the two worlds into one. I mean meteor and sin threatening the world. My god thats baisically like overkill. I mean you throw in Sepheroth and spira is screwed.

I think if a crossover game is done instead of mixing seperate worlds you should mix characters form the different games. Like I dont know how you would do it. Say they went to another dimension (corney sounding i know). I mean come on i think it would be awsome to have Cloud and Squall partner up. Maybe have like Sepheroth and Seymore just plaguing a world with similar ideals. I dont know thats just me, but also take into consideration that this is not even close to the first time Square-Enix has used a referance in one game to tie it to another.

Any easy example is Cid, who is in all the final fantasies except for the original. In every game he is also somehow tied into flying airships. 7 cid was teh character who flew highwind, X he was the Al bhed Captain of the airship whatever its called, IX he is a ruler and airship extrodinare, VIII he was the director of the flying fortress balamb garden.

*Vincents limit break chaos is the final boss in Final Fantasy 1.
*Mt. Kolts is a sighn near after you meet aries selling flowers, it is also a mountain range in FF6
*IN FF8 the sword used by Ultima wepaon is clouds Ultima weapon.
*In FFX when Biran and Yanke say they will make a statue to honor yuna the summoner with a gaiant horn it is homage to FFIX when summoners did in fact have horns.
*A man in luca near a kid in the ballon talks about a lady calling him a spoony bard, this is referance to FFIV when Tellah calls Edward the same thing.
*And the last one is when Yuna is in the Songstress dressphere she can say at times "Hey eyes on me." Which is from FFVIII's song eyes on me, the one Leguna wrote for Julia.

So yea i know this is just about ideas of what a crossover would be like but remember square-enix does this all the time.
