Is there such a thing? I don't play many MMORPGs but I have tried quite a few. I'm not much of a PC gamer but I do like the concept. I've tried many popular titles including Final Fantasy XI, City of Heroes, and Guildwars. None have suited me well. I look at most of the upcoming MMORPGs and I wonder how decent they're going to be. Will they be generic levelers? Will the gameplay be stale or boring? Is the game designed to drag out your subscription? Is the rendering good? Are the classes clever? Do they mesh well with other classes?

Right now there's not a lot of RPG developers in the world that can produce decent single player RPGs. MMORPGs are much more difficult so I'm not really sure why so many different companies are trying to get on the bandwagon. The subscription fee does suck but I would pay it if the gameplay were worth it. Simply said, for most games, it's not.

I may be totally wrong, but I think that there is an MMORPG called Heroes of Might and magic. I haven't played an online game since I was like 2 years old, but I remember really really loving the game because of how simplistic and fun it was. I'm almost positive that it was an online game, but I never actually played it online. ^.^

No, it's not a MMORPG.

There are a couple of new MMORPGs that are coming out, Hellgate: London and Warhammer online.

Hellgate: London is made by the same people who developed Diablo 1 and 2. They left Blizzard to make their own company.

The game seems really awesome so far from what I've seen. There are 6 classes to choose from and each class branch out into 3 different types. There are some videos on ign that explain the game. Also you can play for free or pay $10.00 a month. Of course, if you pay 10 a month you get extra bonuses. Hellgate won't have much PVP (player vs player). Also there is a soft level cap.

There will be a single server which will help with lag from what the developers said. There will be a max limit of players in towns, and there will be many of the same towns to avoid lag. So when you log in you'll see a list of town 1, town 2 and so on.

Warhammer online is like World of Warcraft but it's more player vs player. Warhammer online is made by EA games so....it might suck. Same people who made Dark ages of Camelot.
