1st or 3rd Person (Literature)

Iv read plenty of both 1st and 3rd person - I think I prefer 3rd if it's fiction, altho I'm not all that fussed tbh as long as it's a good book.

For true stories tho, i much prefer 1st person, A million little peices was an amazing book & I think if someone else had written it on his behalf, then it wouldn't have had the same kind of impact.

I usually write in 1st person because i generally revolve my stories around my main character. I sometimes use 3rd person but that is rare for me unless im doing something for an english project.
