IGN has a sneak peak of the Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV, the upcoming feature-length CG film as part of a FFXV cross-media push. As reported, the film will be shown in cinemas on 19 August, ahead of the release of the game itself and its Blu-Ray and digital releases on the 30th of September. "Nationwide" on IGN's page suggests this is confirmed only for the United States for now.

The film features notable voice actors, with confirmed talent including Sean Bean (King Regis, who will now unfortunately have a good chance of dying by virtue of being Sean Bean's character alone) and Lena Headey (Lunafreya), both of whom fans recognise from Game of Thrones. Then there's Aaron Paul, renowned for his role in Breaking Bad, who will be voicing Nyx, the movie's protagonist.
