Square Eidos has released a new trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution, taking you through various abilities you’ll be able to employ in the game and explaining the title’s world. The trailer also contains a lot of info about how you can go around hacking things, as well as featuring developer commentary.

The game’s out on August 23 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Watch the video after the break.

It looks like they are really going back to the roots of the series, and forgetting about the abomination that was 'Invisible War'. Apart from looking gorgeous and having decent VAs it seems like a proper successor to the original.

I'd say it's like an HD version of the original DX with a different story, characters, and setting It really is a proper successor to the original. If I hadn't liked the beta that was leaked a few months ago, I was going to cancel my preorder.
