Two! Wow. I'm sure they keep you busy enough without school, and I think I recently saw the two of them together on Facebook now that I think about it. :) In all, been pretty consumed with work and family, but decided to poke my head up and see what's been going on.
Does it deserve the hate? No, definitely not. That said, if you didn't like it... You didn't like it.
Like FF XII when it first came out, FF VIII's reception was certainly polarizing amongst the fans. But there's nothing about the game that would deserve any hate, in my opinion.
I think most...
Loved the entire score, but Find Your Way, Breezy, Tell Me, Julia, Roses and Wine, My Mind, The Stage is Set, Premonition, Ami, Movin', The Oath, The Salt Flats, Ride On, The Castle, Maybe I'm a Lion, The Extreme, The Successor, and the final Ending Overture (Ending Theme) are my favorites.
Haven't posted in a long, long time, but this was definitely worth stopping in and reading about after getting the email announcement!
I was never a big fan of FF7, but after what has become of the later FF games, it will be nice to see (and play) a reboot of an old-school Final Fantasy on...
I haven't MSN'd in ages, lol. Will do though, thanks. :)
It definitely seems exhausting, but like you said, it looks equally rewarding. I may have to try it one day, before I become too old.
You're a quick study, you'll have it down in no time.
Thanks, if anyone understood, I knew it would be you.
As for your new daughter, I saw her pictures on Facebook, she's absolutely adorable -- such a tiny little peanut, but she's grown quickly in the other photos. :)
And congrats on becoming an Admin! If you ask me... It should have...
Final Fantasy 8 is also the first one I played and it's the one that hooked me to the series as well. It's still my all-time favorite FF to this day.
Exactly, it is a predestination paradox (causality loop). Squall plants the idea of SeeD into Edea Kramer's mind thereby creating a...
Hrmm, I can't remember if the game says she was directly born into the real world or not, then again, it's been a long time since I've played it.
I see your theory, and in all truth, those dead SeeD’s we see aren’t specified from a given time, only that they came from the future. Or, they...
Actually, everyone living in the future isn’t dead; they simply exist in compressed time. It is true, Ultimecia exists--and can only exist--far into the future, thus her need to take over the body of a sorceress living in whatever time period Ultimecia wishes to influence. But it's my...
Whoever said this probably came to this conclusion while playing the game on a 4 inch screen. As a few have already pointed out in this thread, Squall was impaled just below the right shoulder, not in any vital areas of the chest. I'm sure it would hurt like hell, but it isn't life-threatening...
Orphan, the amount of HP you had to knock out in the second incarnation was just ridiculous, especially since you had to fight and beat the thing before you could fully max out anyone in your party. Strategy was the only thing that really worked, stray once from it and you'll be lucky if you can...
Quoted for truth! All pretty graphics and no substance, in my opinion.
The only thing that drew me in was the mark missions at the end of the game, which I found ass-backwards - Everything else bored me. The only motivation I had in finishing the game was the $60 I spent on it.
