You cant just compare it like that, the ps3 is so much harder to develop for because of the architecture, just saying that 360 wont be cut down at all it can probably do the exact same (well except having it all on one disc).
The only way sony can save some of their ass now is if SE announces ff7 remake for ps3 tomorrow... If sony doesnt announce something really good at this E3 i am selling my ps3 when i played through mgs4 and gta.

Erm how do you know the game is a mess right now ? I worked for game developer once and just because the public doesnt have all the info it doesnt mean that they dont.
