...I think I'm in love. <3333
The new Elite weapons look brilliant too. The Focus Rifle sounds like it'll be a lot of fun. A cross between the Beam Rifle and Sentinel Beam? Oh yes. And I love the way the Plasma Repeater looks. Can't wait to get my hands on that thing. :D
And Elites are...
Portal: Still Alive -Portal is one of the best, perhaps even the best game of all time. It's innovative, challenging, fun, with plenty of replay value, everything you could want in a game, powered by a simple yet compelling, dark, and surprisingly humorous story. And here it is on XBL Arcade, at...
Can I just say Dragonheart five times? Because, oh god, that ending. D: I cry every single time I watch that. It doesn't get any easier to bear. ;_;
Okay, fine, I'll make a list.
1: Dragonheart - T_______T
2: The Lion King - Little Simba cuddling up against his dead daddy always gets to me...
I can't wait to see this movie. I've managed to get myself plenty excited over it, which is a bit surprising, since it's been ages since I've seen an animated movie that I actually liked. I do love the book, and while it's a bit sad that the movie won't be following the same story, I'm sure...
I wasn't into gaming at all when I was little. But, when the PS2 was first released, and my cousin bought one, he decided to do away with his old PS1 by giving it to me, even if I didn't really want it. Along with it, he gave me Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Tombi, and MediEvil. I wasn't...
I'm playing SoulSilver. Defeated Red, working on filling the ol' Pokedex now. I won't be able to finish it, most likely (due to Mew and Arceus and such), but I can try. :3
My team at the moment is thus:
Tegan, level 79 Ampharos
Nyssa, level 55 Dragonite
Adric, level 41 Meganium
Turlough, level...
I just bought Half-Life 1 off Steam. I've already played (and loved) Portal, and the HL series gets so much praise, so I really need to see what all the fuss is about. I am expecting great things. Don't fail me now, Valve! :3
Star Ocean! <3
I like the whole Star Ocean series, but my favorite is Second Story. Sure, the characters and story are pretty weak and flat, but it's so much fun. I love the battle system, it's a nice change from the usual turn-based RPGs. Recruiting different sets of characters and getting...
I don't need to say Final Fantasy, since everyone else has already. Sooo~
This thread needs more Okami love. That game had such a gorgeous soundtrack, with a very traditional Japanese feel to it. Along with the sumi-e graphics, it goes really far to establishing the game's mood and setting...
I do this all the time. I don't have a lot of time for video games nowdays, but I keep buying more because they are oh so pretty and interesting and look really nice all lined up on my shelf and they're starting to pile up. I still haven't finished Dissidia or Halo Wars, and I've got Blue...
Preordered Halo 3: ODST today. <3 (Does that count as buying?)
I'm really looking forward to this one. I always thought the Helljumpers were awesome and wished they had a bigger role in the main trilogy. XD
Halo 1: Assault Rifle + SPNKr
Halo 2: Brute Shot + Energy Sword
Halo 3: Assault Rifle + Energy Sword
+ Shotgun for any levels with large amounts of Flood.
Energy Sword ftw. <3
Took me a while to get the hang of the Gambit system, but after that, I really started to enjoy it. I thought it was a refreshing change, it was new, innovative, and fun. I spent hours fiddling with Gambits and perfecting my setup, just because I could. So, basically, yes, I liked Gambits, they...
I had to train a lot throughout Final Fantasy XII. I found it hard to advance through each region without leveling up. The levels of the enemies seemed to vary a lot between areas... But, even after I beat the final boss, I found myself still training. Not for any real reason, other than I found...
Yes, you have to go after Aerith through the Sleeping Forest at the back of the Digsite. But first, before you can pass through the forest, you have to dig up the Lunar Harp. Then you can get through to the Forgotten City, find Aerith, and fight the final boss of disc 1 :]
I've heard a lot of good things about the Dragon Quest series, but I've never had the chance to play any of those games myself. Anyway, the Star Ocean games are pretty darn fantastic. Maybe a bit lacking in storyline, but they more than make up for it with the totally addictive gameplay and neat...
