I agree with this to an extent anyway. I think it's true for the people who like the games but are not really fans and started playing them quite late into the series. I think most real FF fans will look past the graphics and realize the old games are great and just as good as the modern ones...

Vanille without a doubt is the most annoying character to me. Voice acting was a killer and one of the reasons FFXIII didn't win me over.

Yeah, she made me think of a beached whale in that scene. I also thought you would have to fight her at some point, I expected her to fight using magic as her power, maybe summoning from the Eidolons she extracted. At first I thought she would be the final boss :x3:
