    You just gotta scream?

I really never had problems with the bubbly characters, the outgoing ones, nor have I had any issues with the more depressed and anti-social characters. I myself am not a very outgoing person, but nor am I depressed. Looking at each Final Fantasy as a story, and since the writers wanted their...

What was the latest Final Fantasy when you were born?

First Final Fantasy I played was Final Fantasy 6, though I was born in '86, and FF1 did not come out till December of '87. I did not really "like" RPGs till I played and completed Final Fantasy 7 though. Been enjoying RPGs of all types ever since.

    Favorite Monster!

Going to have to say Tonberry. I thought about it and I still love the little thing and it's butcher knife.

    Worst character

I still think it's Cait Sith. I still can't stand that character, and it's been 12 years!

    The Fourth Kind

Has anyone seen the latest addition to the library of Alien suspense/horror movies? I've been thinking of going to the movies this weekend and it's on my list of possible films to watch.

Maybe, just maybe, FFXIII could be released in 2009 in the West!

And here I've been waiting to preorder when they announce a collectors edition so the game stores don't look at me with puzzled looks. It will be great if this does get released this year. However, given the fact that it's already November I seriously doubt we'll see the release before 2010...

    Star Wars: The Prequels

You do have a point. I have to admit that the new Star Trek movie was certainly the best film I saw over the summer. As far as remakes/reboots go, Star Trek got it right. None of the actors really got on my nerves, there was no irritating "Jar Jar" type of character, and the script was pretty...

Christmas Gaming Wishlist 2009 & Discussion Thread

I'm a bit old for a real wish list, but if I could get anything: Preordered copy of Mass Effect 2 (PC) Dragon Age Origins (PC) Demon Souls (PS3) Tekken 6 (PS3)

    Star Wars: The Prequels

I enjoyed the prequels quite a bit. They were, however, (according to Lucas and a few on his staff) targeting the youths more so than the classic fans. I suppose it's similar to the route Star Trek is taking now. True, the classics in both Star Wars and Star Trek are considered to be just...

    Jon Bon Jovi

Bon Jovi is one of my absolute favorite rock bands. I can't really pinpoint a favorite, though Runaway is definitely up there. I enjoy some of his newer stuff as well, though was disappointed with the Lost Highway album. Was a bit too country and i'm a bit concerned he's going to fully convert.

    Hello

I'm new to this site and decided to join since the site I used to be a member of shut down prematurely (owner disappeared and failed to pay the bills.) If you were a member of the said site, FFSpira, you may have known me as Balthier. Assuming the name Mercurial is not common, I already know...

Dissidia 2 Hanging In The Balance

I suspect those with hacked PSPs may also be to blame. With some of the recent cracked firmware it's relatively easy to get a .iso to work on a memory stick with enough space. The lack of real online play (adhoc doesn't seem to be enough) was a letdown for many as well. Western gamers have a...
