It is possible to get a LiveJournal account and whenever you upload a picture for an icon you can do basic cropping and resizes automatically to 100 x 100 pixels, but signing up for the LJ is a bit unnecessary unless you already have one I guess.

I like the Venom one the most because of the depth. I think its sort of understated but works since it seems simple but has details here and there. The others I don't like as much. I think you can use some slight variation in the colors to add interest, otherwise the Venom one's really smex. >_>

If you're looking to improve further, I think you need to make your work less predictable and obvious. I see you use several images of space for your background and you use really saturated colors. It gets old really fast. And you seem to be adamant on making the signatures mostly all the same...
