Final Fantasy II.
I haven't played III, so I don't have an opinion on that, neither did I play CC. X-2 is a assload better than II. I just couldn't get into II AT ALL.
The first few were easy, but Bevelle's was horrifying. It was extremely colourful, I didn't know what does what or what goes where, I got confused every 5 seconds and I kept cursing at the person who designed the bloody thing. I eventually turned to a guide.
It was well worth it for Bahamut...
Yojimbo basically used Zanmato for me alot since I used him often and paid him a bunch. If you keep using him all over the place and keep paying him very high, he'll most likely use Zanmato for you.
The Dark Aeons though..ugh, goodness. Dark Magus Sisters murdered me, especially as they got me...
Either Besaid, or Killika (if Sin didn't exist.) But, Besaid takes the cake for me as it's pretty much safe from Sin, not completely surrounded by water, it's a small village, and it seems really peaceful.
I only got 1 Grand Armour from Hellvinik because Dark Elemental was an ass and sprawned near Hellvenik and one of my characters ended up killing it somehow.
Ah well.
And yeah, the loot sort of 'forcedrops' itself if you have Wait mode on and the Chain meter shows up, and you press X to the...
Larsa. His potions were REALLY helpful and I've always liked Larsa as a character in general. :D
Reddas was *okay*, but getting the Tournesol items with him was absolutely horrific. I was slightly too lazy to continue with the plot and really wanted it, and he was absolutely annoying when I was...
Ugh, I voted 'Gilgamesh'..then I read the post. In general, he is the best recurring character, though I didn't care for him much in FFV. I liked the Turks alot, they were fun to beat.
New Era Guru. I haven't played EVERY FF (FFII and III in particular) and whilst I enjoy the classics, I ADORE the FFs VII and above. There's alot more to explore, it takes hours, it's fun, you get more out of it. I'm really good at FFs above VII, and only 'decent' at the FFs below.
Final Fantasy XII had a huge friendship circle which was very bonded together, similar to FFX's. They all have the same objectives, they all had a laugh and they all went through the same things together. Most particular that stood out for me was Balthier and Fran, they were REALLY close...
Final Fantasy I - Recently restarted. Beginning.
Final Fantasy VII: Final disk, just about to go to Northern Crater. Finishing up sidequests.
Final Fantasy VIII: Defeating the things in the Ragnarok. Need to buy new game - the disk is effed up.
Final Fantasy X: Killed final boss, doing more...
Favourites:
In terms of clothing and character (history etc.)...
Seymour (I feel sorry for him a little. :/ I like his tattoos as well. Awesome looking. :P I also thought he was pretty strong when you had the chance to use him. Wish you could've summoned Anima though. Good overdrive)
Vincent...
Different from game to game. FFI-FFVI I ignored most sidequests and just went for the main storyline. Only concentrated on levelling and buying stuff.
FFVII: Did sidequests, used Bio ALOT, more of a collector, like for enemy skills and weapons. Overlevelled.
FFVIII: UNDER-levelled, lol. :P...
