I mostly use physical attacks but it depends on the enemy. If theyre really weak against a certain magic then ill use that. Not really big on status change but i will use haste a lot. The only magic i use consistently is healing magic

yeah i wasnt keen on the battle system either. If you had the gambits on then you felt pretty redundant. Point your team at the bad guy and off they go... and your left just watching. Seems a bit pointless. I do like the fact that you can see the monsters though, and the battles are...

Id say final fantasy has a pretty equal following, but because there are more guys that play games that girls in general (apart from the DS and this is apparently the first console ever to have a 50-50 split) i suppose proportonally it might appeal more to girls. But its all about taste

Yeah Ive seen the tactics game but wasnt sure how good it would be. Was pretty dissapointed with lord of the rings tactics for psp. But if it has balthier its prob worth a go :)
