oh, you have to find the cactoid compact after getting a perfect, it gets REALLY annoying. it took me quite a few tries. oh, and to get the sword, I'm pretty sure you sell the badges and then the sword appears in the bazzar.
GARLAND! he was just so awesome. He was the man behind it all...well, that is until bad things happened(didn't want to spoil anything). I just loved the guy, especially his superior "telekinesis" power ^_^.
hmm...thats one way of doing it I guess. I didn't know it was weak to ice so I never really used any harmful magic in that one. and killing the little dudes is a very good thing as it makes her waste time creating more and, I'm not sure on this, but I think they stop spawning after a while...
dang...why do y'all hate Steiner so much(except the two people before me) I didn't think he was THAT bad, but I'm not saying he's awesome or anything. I laughed at him...and his clanking, and I liked him in battle. I never saw any reason why people would hate steiner beyond the whole...
my party was Vaan, Basch and Ashe. I had Vaan and Basch on perpetual attack pretty much, with Ashe as my healer, I mean, she still attacked, but was mostly busy with the healing. Vaan(party leader) was also a part-time healer when Ashe was busy with something else. So, I suggest that you try...
I really only used steal in the beginning, but then I found that poach was also useful to get better items and such. Telekinesis is a must for me because ALL of my main party members are melee and flyers are HARD.
I always had three main people at mostly high levels. also, I recommend not using quickenings AT ALL! they waste way too much mana that could be used for healing/damage purposes. I, also, did not use the various statuses so I had it a bit rough, but even then it was kinda easy, just make sure...
haven't gotten it yet...you have to kill three monsters with hp in the millions(highest 12 million, or so I've heard), AND finish all the hunts, with one of the three monsters with uber HP being a hunt as well as do the whole fishing thing.
Yeah, dark absorbing stuff is great......but I didn't have any at the time, I just went in there and beat him with armor that did nothing beyond normal stuff. And this was also before I had learned to use the ultimate power of casting status effects on yourself before the battle too. I had a...
I chose Eiko, simply because I found her healing powers and summons completely and utterly lacking in comparison to Garnet's. I also chose her because, well, she never really did anything storywise besides go for Zidane...oh, and the whole Alexander thing, but that wasn't much of anything...
I'd choose Daguerro. because(if I'm thinking of the right place) there are water steps, which would be awesome and there are all of those books there...I'd never get bored, especially if I got out every once in a while to kill the monsters.
I loved this game over most of the other Final fantasies, I know people will be jaw dropped by that comment, its true. the first time I played it I was like 6 and I was still doing awesomely on it, until the battle where you first encounter black mages. then a couple years later I played it...
my least favorite had to be the mime....I just never found any reason to use them....next was the oracle, simply because I never liked their weapons of spells, I only had anyone become an oracle so they would eventually become a mediator.
Just be aware that I don't remember my accesories to the fullest, I look at 'em and think, "thats a good equip!" and equip it, then forget it.....
Vaan - Light infantry - One handed sword & shield, Light Armor, Genji Gauntlets(especially with deathbringer)
Ashe - Warrior - Great Sword, heavy...
well, I was at first too. what the quickenings do is they are better attacks, but they suck up all your mana(pretty sure you knew that part). But, to make them to have much effect, you need to have more than one character be able to use quickenings. They chain together for BIG combo damage...
You get the cockatrice to the other side by sending Nathyl, then Arryl, the the cockatrice. The Acetic's door only opens once you have the ageworn key after you do the Vyraal quest and give the scale to the guy on windmill 10.
Oh, and Scathe can only be gotten in a secret shop. for the...
hmmm....it may be a problem with the disc. but, if it is, its probably only for that specific map screen, so just go through the first area without using the map and see what happens afterward, thats the best advice I can give, sorry.
its pretty good. I think he used a bit too much of FFXIII though, I mean, its awesome and everything, but too many pieces of a preview(or the game if he got it shipped from japan) is just a bit....yeah. well, tell him He did a good job anyways.
oh, and if you guys want to watch other final...
