i used to live a life filled with drama, back in high school. but after coming to college, my friend circle became a lot smaller, and I cut out a lot of that drama. i liked it at first, cuz it made things easier and i spent more time studying and what not. but now, i sorta miss it. i want...
i think FFX brings about a semi-example. in it, they say that several summoners and their teams had succeeded in putting sin at bay, but not permanently. i'm sure these could all be considered heroes. and FFX could have told their stories. but instead, it told the story of the one group that...
granted, the game came out in '97 (i think, correct me if i'm wrong) so some of this technology might not have existed (i'm not sure, i was 9 at the time and don't feel like digging through my bio notes) but humor me for a sec...
hojo, being the devious scientist that he is, might have injected...
the intro is by far my favorite. it totally captures the desperation, intensity and love story that the game masterfully portrays in the struggles its protagonists have to face.
fithos lusec wecos vinosec
good thoughts, but i'm going to have to disagree with you on your image. i don't think final fantasy should be about average people. i mean it is supposed to be fantasy oriented. and i think the whole grandiose tale is what it's all about. at the same time, if you think about other games in...
the ADB system isn't nearly as involved as the turn based or ATB system. i felt like i could pretty much program the game to win. which totally sucks. i dunno, it didn't feel like i was playing the game...more like the game was playing itself. that's why i didn't like it so much. but i...
as far as the grinding to reduce difficulty level vs not grinding to make the game harder, i want to mention that sometimes grinding takes away from the story. if i have to spend days grinding, i often forget what exactly is going on with the story. that's what happened to me when i played FFV.
omega weapon - classic beast that just won't quit. raw power.
ultimecia - eye candy lol
zorn and thorn - comic relief
delita - pure badass leader that no one knows too much about.
first of all, gilgamesh would win cuz he kicks butt and doesn't wait around for money to do stuff. and secondly, i think odin was way better (as far as the swordsman summons go)
first of all, if you're going to say stuff that you think she was saying/thinking, don't put it in quotes.
and yes, this woman is clearly a moron. it sounds like she's doing it for the attention. she's clearly unbalanced, and people like this need to be...well you know. anyways, i don't...
i think the question is kinda weighted funny. critically, FFVII was deemed the best of the franchise. additionally, because it was the first on it's system and a breakthrough rpg, many people who didn't normally play rpgs picked them up at FFVII. they became fans of the series and their first...
FF's are too easy as it is. they keep getting easier too. it seems like as rpg's go, they make them easier and easier. older rpg's are really tough though. like FFV was one of the toughest rpg's i've ever played. i found myself grinding several times though. but that's the thing, no matter...
although all forms of inflicting pain on another living thing is wrong, inflicting pain on a creature that can't fight back or hasn't done anything wrong is even more senseless. i'm not sure if i'm making this clear, but if you're gonna hurt something, why hurt an animal? it's not like a...
ronso cuz i like rooting for the underdogs.
and in all reality these guys should be the best at tackling and whatnot. they're like twice the size of regular humans. THEY'RE BEASTS!
It's funny cuz the first time i played through FFVII, I used aeris as part of my core team. back then i wasn't a huge FF fan (cuz it was my first one) and i didn't know that she was gonna die (needless to say i felt totally robbed when she did) but yeah, i didn't get far enough to get her final...
nice thing about it is that if you ever feel like doing it later, you can. you can wait til just before the end of the game to get wakka's stuff. i'm pretty sure anyways.
i dunno. the main reason why i'm worried is because of FFXII. so many people were disappointed with it, but i thought it was fantastic. I'm not worried about FFXIII being ruined for me. i'm more worried that the majority of the public won't like it because they're expecting some ridiculously...
FFXII = Star Wars? (possible spoilers)
ok, i know this is gonna sound kinda ridiculous, but did any of you think the story of FFXII felt a lot like star wars (the original trilogy)? Maybe not the story but for some reason, i came out of the whole thing feeling like i had played an FF version...
