Manga. The plot's usually much more concise/focused, there's a lack of filler, and chapter-by-chapter is easier to follow than episode by episode.
Besides, did manga ever have "I'll take a potato chip...*uhh-huuuhhh, huhh -and EAT IT!"?
Nope :p
For an especially clear case of the manga...
Really short?
Chapters most recently released:
Bleach - 429
Naruto - 510
One Piece - 597
And keep in mind; One Piece just passed the third week of a four-week Hiatus. Were that Hiatus not to have come, it'd be on chapter 600 by now.
And, for excitement/suspense...I'll admit it's got a slow...
A year and a half ago, I'd have said that Bleach was superior without question.
Now though? The way everything has dragged on in Bleach while Naruto falters from excess tangents involving Sasuke, I'm pretty much reading both of them to see how they'll end. Now granted, Aizen's finally...
Weezer - Hurley (Favorite tracks; Memories, Ruling Me, Where's My Sex?, All My Friends Are Insects, and Viva La Vida)
Lordi - Babez For Breakfast (Favorite tracks; Bigger Than You, Give Your Life For Rock and Roll, Nonstop Nite)
Uh...yeah. I got these two albums at the same time. The guy at...
Weezer - Viva La Vida
I have to say, between I'm a Believer, Poker Kids, and this; I'm liking their covers so far.
Between these guys and Northern Kings, SOMEONE needs to cover Never Gonna Give You Up at some point.
So most of the animated movie threads I've seen are all Disney or Disney-related.
That said, I'm opting for a non-Disney movie thread. More obscure than Ferngully, and certainly a great deal more disturbing than even Watership Down.
Felidae's an animated German film that thankfully has been...
Keep in mind though, the movie did not end up making it into the pantheon of 90's era Disney Classics the way stuff like The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast did. It did kinda pay for its maturity level with a less than stellar reception.
Thankfully, I think that's changing as...
*cracks fingers*
The Brat Pack. These are the little kids who travel in clumps and whose only perceivable purpose is to introduce comedic moments that break tension. Unfortunately, what they end up doing much of the time is destroying an otherwise acceptably serious moment. Also, one of them...
Hook. Yes, that Peter Pan sequel with Robin Williams as Peter Pan, Julia Roberts as Tinkerbell, and Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook. This movie got SLAMMED by critics when it came out, and a lot of people I talk to still go "Wait, they made a movie like that?"
For me; it's one of my favorites...
I'd like to say "Avatar", but it seems that everyone else here doesn't like it so it can't be a movie that everyone likes and I dislike anymo-
What the hell. Avatar. C'mon, if you're going to do a cliche plot set ahead of gloriously-advanced-for-its-time graphics, at least do what George...
Sunshine on My Shoulders - John Denver.
Done with an especially odd choice of footage as well.
"Almost always...makes me high."
*MOOSE*
THAT part is hilarious, but the rest of it feels...sad.
Got locked out once. Parents were out of town and had forgotten to give the neighbors a backup key. My sister had left her house key inside, so I ended up digging out some duct tape and a hammer from one of the garage cabinets.
Made a tape patch over a small portion of the window on the...
Nightwish-Tenth Man Down.
As heard on Mario Paint.
My god I can't believe what a good job this person did with this...
And of course someone else did the entirety of "Through the Fire and the Flames" as well.
In no particular order~
1: Rhapsody of Fire - Unholy Warcry. I must've watched this several dozen times when it first came out. It's still the band being quirky, but I liked seeing Christopher Lee in a Burger King crown XD
2: Weezer - Pork and Beans. This video is already fun...
THIS IDEA IS GOOD AND YOU SHOULD FEEL GOOD ABOUT IT.

Honestly, with what I currently read and in terms of what's not already damn near canon, I want Zoro/Perona in One Piece. Readers should take note that in the time since he first crashed at Mihawk's, Perona apparently came to trust...
Aizen's high point was when he first revealed the depths of his betrayal in volume 20. It threw everyone off guard and the way he just strolled through the chaos exactly-as-planned was amazing.
The problem came later on when he kept flaunting how utterly all-powerful he was and how everything...

To list 'em by series:
Evangelion - AsukaxShinji. Read Re-Take. Read Angelic Days. That is all I can say.
Evangelion - HikarixToji. Because in a series like Evangelion, it's reassuring to see two mentally balanced characters enter into a stable relationship.
Evangelion -...
The "it's alright, it was just a bad dream" / "it's just your imagination" / "it wasn't real" people in horror movies. More often than not these are the adults who don't believe anything's wrong until they have a weedwhacker shoved through their torso so that it shows them their now-removed...
