Most abused Limit huh? Well right now I'm trying to get all my characters to Lvl 100 (Squall and Zell are, Rinoa 93, rest: 60-61) and my strategy is to have Squall permanently in critical mode so I can access Renzokuken most of the time against the creatures on the Island Closest to Hell. So i'd...
I have a few favourite scenes:
Final Fantasy VIII: Near end of Disc 1, when Edes's float come out and the tribal dancers are dancing around with the float. I like this scene mainly because the music was really tribal and fitted the occasion.
Final Fantasy X: Blitzball Scene!! Love the music...
I was playing through FFXII the other day and I was trying out all the spells I haven't used (which is alot). So I was using Fire, Fira, Firaga, Thunder, Thundara, Thundaga, Blizzard, Blizzara, Blizzaga, Water, Aero.. Wait a mo', what about Watera and Waterga? Don't tell me I've forgotten to buy...
About the PS2 or PS1, it really depends on the severity of the scratch I believe. My FFVIII Disc 1 screws up everytime I summon Quetzacotl (sound and vibration works, but game freezes during thunder storm animation), and I'm using a PS2 to play. So, yeah, I suggest you check your disc and try to...
I suggest Final Fantasy X. It has one of the best stories out of all the FF games (I know it's not one of your criteria, but believe me, a good story will get you hooked onto the game), and the battle system isn't too shabby. Since you're new to the series, FFX is good as well because the battle...
I've done it once, and only once. All it takes is a low blood pressure, patience and a stress reliever. What you do is save beforehand, then go to the first set of chests and open one. If you get into a fight, reset. If you get the item, go back to the save point and save. Easy. Now do it for...
To tell you the truth, the endings of Final Fantasy I to V weren't that great, I guess it is just the shoddy graphics which became a real turn off.
The ending of VII was really rewarding after the (multiple) gruelling battles I had to go through. Loving the Red XIII ending.. (wait, was that...
My favourite GF is Alexander. Pretty much as soon as I saw his summon animation I fell in love with it. Who doesn't like a giant walking tank-castle with gigantic holy cannons? And you gotta admit, it made a short job of the Ruby Dragons you fight at the start of Disc 3 (with Laguna). And the...
Update: I can now complete the cube of frustration. I found 2 guides which, when fusing both methods, got me to the end. I am currently learning the patterns (I know most of the algorithms, just a few need learning.) I still stuff up time to time, but it's easier to regain back in control.
Hardest for me is defenitely Penance from Final Fantasy X International. He is so hard to beat. I probably tried to vanquish him about 20 times. I still have nightmares about Judgement Day (99,999 damage to all, no exceptions.) But it felt pretty good to unlock him, cos you had to defeat all...
There's another tip I can give you, since Reverse lasts about five seconds before needing to be recast, what you do is cast Decoy, then Reverse, then Stop onto your character. This will make Reverse and Decoy last until Stop ends, and Stop goes on for a long time. This will basically create an...
*If this has already been done, by all means delete*
Hi there, just want to know, what are your most despised negative status ailments and maybe why you don't like them (could be a battle you lost cuz of that ailment or whatever). Here's a list of all the ones I can think of:
~Confuse...
Hey guys, dunno where to put this, so here it is.
How many of you here have tried to complete a freakin' Rubik's Cube and failed? I certainly have.
Just the other day I was cleaning my room (as you do), and I came across this cursed Rubik's Cube. Really, it was ancient, the layers didn't...
Nah, I usually don't like renaming characters in Final Fantasy. I really like the names that Square makes up eg. Squall (love this name), Cloud (who woulda thought?), Cecil, Zidane etc. etc. However, during my Death Note days, I kinda named Tidus Light.
Yes Elder Wyrm is optional. But, why would you want to evade him? Basically, when you begin battle, have everyone use Aero (or -ga, but I'm not sure if you can get it yet) on the Treants. This will hopefully kill off the Treants in a few hits. Then you want to get a Gunner or Archer in your team...
*nod* Couldn't agree with you more. I was shocked when I heard the victory tune. Oh, and ever since I watched Advent Children, I have wanted that tune as my ringtone. You know the scene, the fight between Tifa and Loz. Anyways, I guess Square wanted a different feel for FFX-2, but alas!, they...
This may sound silly, but the most annoying thing in my opinion is the menu colour. GREY!!! Who the hell thought up of that? Even Final Fantasy VII had a nice shade of blue. Grr...
Another annoying thing is the whole episode in space. First: I try to win the Alexander and Laguna cards from the...
Before hand: Get everyone's (Yuna + aeons not needed, unless the party is not very strong) Overdrive Gauges full. Having Antidotes at hand is recommended. I can't remember, but having Piercing Weapons for Auron and Kimahri is good.
In battle: Start with Wakka, Lulu and Auron (or Tidus). Wakka...
Nah, I think Abel is funny when he isn't in Crusnik form, and I always laugh when he acts like a klutz. That's why he's so cool when he turns Crusnik. And I think that the anime and manga both differ from each other and the original light novels, the anime and manga aren't entirely the same.
Anybody else read/watch this manga/anime? I picked it up a few weeks ago and am now addicted to it.
It is set in the near future, after Armageddon has torn up the world. It is about the power struggle between the Vatican, the ruling force on Earth, and the Methuselah, a vampiric race of...
