I couldn't beat him untill I was level 70 with Zidane. I guess you should just level up so your stats go up, you can get better equiptment, learn new abilities ect. Sorry for the lack of anything really useful. X_X

I think the series has been getting worse as the years went on. Pokemon Silver and Gold were good, but I think the series went downhill since Ruby/Sapphire. The spinoffs like Mystery Dungeon and Ranger are still pretty good, but the anime will die off eventually. I still haven't caught them all...
