I personally disagree with this. Bartz is a comedian. All the way through the game (). But he doesn't change much in the time after the event.
Cloud starts as a rather whiny person (Crisis Core)
Becomes serious, but proves he can have character (Final Fantasy 7)
Post-FF7 > Advent Children...
Love it.
I loved FF3 & I see the job system on here, compared to the one on FF3 to be q vastly superior upgrade.
The ability to mix abilities between jobs gives a massive strategic feel to it.
And then theres the story, which is brilliantly written from start to finish, characters with...
Although you've probably got past this by now...
Get the Blue Magic, Lv5Death. Then go to Castle Val & go to the basement, where you fight Odin & just run around using it on everything. The enemies are crap with Exp, but they give tons of ABP, either 4 or 8 per battle, depending on whether you...
Dude? Have you not heard the FF1 anniversary edition of the song.
Listening alone gives me an eargasm. FF5 & 12 had brilliant versions, but god is this one amazing 8D
Well lets face it. Who uses Onion Knight for strategy?
Drk.Knight (Tank the foe)
Dragoon (evade & hit)
White Mage (necessary white magic. Lv.8 isn't needed.)
Bard (Is there ANYTHING they can't do?)
Actually, I dissagree. Souleater NEVER loses its use. You say that it loses it at 9999 damage, but the game goes higher than that. I think the limit is 99,999, but I might be wrong. But the game only shows 9999 on the battle screen.
Note: this only works on the DS version.
I forget which town...
I have been a Final Fantasy gamer for some time now. I've played through several of the games with as much enthusiasm as humanly possible. Recently, my eyes fallen upon a war that rages between the vast fandom of Final Fantasy. Of all Final Fantasy games, the legendary "Final Fantasy 7 -...
FF Origins is kinda old hat. FF1 Anniversary was far better, imo. They are the same games, but FF1 Anniversary seemed infinitely more fun, with the better sprites, remastered music & such.
FF10 was an excellent game, although X-2 was dissappointing. XII was brilliant as well, definitely one of...
Okay...I think. Although I like a lot of these levelling factors, they seem to be unfinished & buggy to me. I'll be taking your advice into hand though, so thanks.
One last question, whats the level limit of Magics?
So, I'm going by the FF3 DS version of the game.
I'd like to hear all of your favourite team setups.
However, no All-OnionKnight-Setups. Something resourceful, please.

My own team was laid out with:
Dark Knight - Used for dealing damage hard & fast. Souleater allows better use of the Dark...
Actually, the upgrade classes are this:
Warrior > Knight
White Mage > White Wizard
Black Mage > Black Wizard
Red Mage > Red Wizard
Thief > Ninja
Monk > Master
If you go to the castle of trials, or whatever its called, I forgot :gasp: then go to Bahamut in the dragon caves with the Rat Tail...
I took:
Warrior/Knight (Main physical attacker, used to take out most opponents. Tank & Meatshield)
White Mage/White Wizard (Healer. Thats pretty much all. I used the Healing Staff to restore HP free of MP Cost)
Black Mage/Black Wizard (Magic attacker. Used to deal elemental damage most.)
Red...
Oh, the Desert Baretta, for sure D8 They were cheap as all heck. They dealt me loads of damage. They aren't TOO bad, but seeing as all the enemies are so easy to defeat on this game, I was taken by surprise from this thing.
I had always been tempted to play Final Fantasy 1. FF is my favourite franchise, so I thought it would be good to play through the games. In order. So here goes the first review.
So, I realised a while ago that there had been a GBA remake of the very first Final Fantasy. After playing it...
I know this really makes me seem like a noob, but I REALLY don't get the skill level system. Its the only system in Final Fantasy to date that I have never been able to get to grips on. And seeing as my entire stat growth revolves around it, I'd like to fill out the iggles.
First off, I know...
1 - Yes. I think that although it is the first game & thus everybody has heard of it, theres still the fact that its seen as the most underly developed. Shame, seeing as I had loads of fun with it.
2 - Yes. I haven't played much of it yet, but I didn't specifically see much attraction to it...
