Sooo, having just played the demo, I was really eager to share my views with others.
Lightning was honestly my favourite. Her jump was good, her move layout was good & she was decent in stats. She was fast & engaging. Easily the balanced character.
Kain was a slight dissapointing. His moveset...
I abstain on XIs behalf, seeing as I haven't even played the game yet, but 6 I'm not all that sure of. I mean, I think that Sabin, Celes & Shadow would fit right in, but, this probably being my dislike of 6 talking, but I think they're pretty boring.
I'm dissappointed about Yuna too. I feel...
I have to agree here. I'm really happy with the characters. Although, Yuna I don't approve of yet. Maybe its just me, but I was really hoping for Auron. I'm glad for Kain as well. I'd actually be really fond to hear his voice actor in non-chibi form.
Lightning & Gilgamesh are also hopeful greay...
Well, I've seen the gameplay of Laguna, Lightning, Tifa & Vaan. Tifa actually looks really well made. She has really long reach 8D
Lightning seems overly complicated, but will likely work.
Yuna annoys me. They'd better do a good job with her, because I honestly believe Auron was a better...
Well, now we are faced with the loomin release of Dissidia 012, merely just over a month from its japanese release. A lot of hype has been thrown around over the characters, but what are your thoughts of the characters, new and old?
~~~
I'm primarily a Cloud player myself (Smashing guards is...
Aww, be fair. Bartz was goofy, but not an idiot. The old man honestly wasn't too old if he could survive a meteorcrash and...would you REALLY refer to Faris as a chick? Srsly? XD
This is your oppinion, as you said, so I shall respect it & keep to mine.
FF1 was a good game imo. The story was pretty decent & the gameplay was a good setting for other games to go on.
I have to say, FF2 & X-2 were both far worse.
FF2. The levelling system. WHAT TEH FU- Its buggy &...
FF4. Definitely. The whole game showed how easy it was to get absorbed into the storyline. I don't think many games compare much to FF4.
This is just my oppinion of course, tho.
You know you've played too much FF when...
- You spend all your cash on hair stuffs to make your hair defy gravity.
- You go trick or treating as a psychotic, homicidal clown.
- Your mum tells you to clean up your room & your fingers suddenly tighten around the L1 & R1 buttons.
- You need a...
Well, I agree that Cloud got a massive powerboost, but Sephiroth was nerfed. For a supersoldier, he should've been able to wipe the floor with Cloud, imo. But thats just my thought.
I haven't actually seen ACC yet. But I can imagine some parts. I just think that Square have milked Sephiroth too...
TIPS FOR THE DAY
Training Hotspots
- For ABP purposes, there is no better way of levelling your jobs than the bottom of Castle Val, where you can fight Odin. The statues there, (forgot the names) can give either 4 or 8 ABP per battle. Both of which are brilliant numbers. When you first come...
Next up...summons? Okay~
Quite a few summons are very easily missed throughout FF5. In short, you have to get a few because of storyline purposes, But I'll explain what each does & how to get them.
Summons
Chocobo - An old summon to the Final Fantasy series, Chocobo is the easiest to get on...
They do have cool designs, its true.
Whereas they were pretty darn pointless in FF12, the Job system remake actually made them pretty useful, seeing as you could use their overdrive at any time without having to go to hell & back to use it.
Mateus. His design is just too freaking awesome. Plus, he selotaped a priestess to his chest.
Whats not to love?
...Why didn't they remove the Priestess?
Actually, surprisingly, there are more physical fighters than else. I found that a few simple things made this game much more enjoyable /coughBLUEMAGICcough/
Still, look at it this way. The villain is a psychotic, homicidal tree of complete penguin doom. Whats not to like? ITS A F*CKING TREE...
Well, look forward to it. The music owns too much.
I agree with you on the first factor, but I've got the complete FFXIII OST. Prelude appears, but its a different song entirely. Still awesome tho.
Blue Magic Mastery
Completing Final Fantasy 5 can be a challenge, but there are ways to lower the difficulty for you, while still playing fairly. The trick to this is !Blue. Blue Magic seems rather pointless, especially as you can only learn the not-too-powerful Goblin Punch. However, 2 spells...
