I hope it's alright to revive a 2 1/2 year thread.
But, I think that it's just part of that 'you're watching this movie, so you can go along with the things you see in it' attitude. Of course there is no flying in the RPG of 1997, but that's how they did it in Advent Children. For those that...
Ohhhhhh I'm feeling the urge to replay this again! I think I shall later today and see if it hooks me again or not. I think I'll use characters I didn't normally use in my other playthroughs, and have actually have a balanced party. :ohshit:
Usual unused characters being Yuna (except when you...
This sounds a lot like the rest system in WoW, except in reverse. In WoW (World of Warcraft) the longer you stay logged out in an inn/resting place, you accumulate rest, which causes you to gain more exp per kill/quest until it runs out.
FFXIV seems to be something opposite of that. I don't...
Darkstone, ps1.
Oh my god, this game is just the worst buy I've ever had. Graphics are the best thing about it probably. MMO style hack and slash game. The quests are just boring and the load times made me wanna order a pizza and eat it while it was 'loading'. The sound was about as bad as the...
I wouldn't say that the 360 and PS3 are pointless. The PS3 itself is basically a media station, as it can be a stand alone blue ray player, and it has the connection to the internet itself. The 360 has a great Live system imo, allowing gamers to mark their achievement and what not.
Spending 70...
A few stand out
VII - After , I never save it and always manage to mess it up somehow.
VIII - I've skipped saving after you acquire Siren during the Dollet mission. I made it all the way through and died fighting Diablo when I first got his lamp.....SO pissed when I realized the last time I...
Well I'm probably going to grind a couple levels just using magic, since Fire Cavern apparently needs it. :(
Around what levels of magic would I need? Everything but cure is level 1, and cure is level.....3 I think.
Well one reason I was thinking so was because at the start of the game, Auron looks into the sky (where Sin is) and asks 'Are you sure?' or something like that. I do think that Jecht could still think or even semi control Sin to bring Tidus to Spira.
Yea but slaying werewolves when they use berserk is soooo much more fun! :busta: Plus I've always hated harpy monsters, ever since I played World of Warcraft...... but I'll suffer through it!
^I was afraid of that, my magic except cure is all level 1, and my MAG itself is at base......gawd. I'll just lower some strength or something and balance it.
Oh the wisdom hit me like a train! I guess I'll just......train (doh) in Dipan for 2 more levels, then go dominate Fire Caverns. Just love watching my guy take little damage while striking down those damned werewolves :ohshit:
Yea I love it so far, great for when I'm working overnights and I've got nothing to do. Only thing I don't like is that there are few hints where to go and all, but still fun.
Ah ok, I'll look for the response message. It took me awhile to find the window on the staircase in Dipan Castle as well.....:gasp:
I'll give it a go tomorrow, thanks.
When I talk to Jecht it just says 'What do you want!?' or something like that, with no continuation chat, just a retry and leave. And Tifa just mentions going to the cellar to hunt a pest (Tonberry). I'll try again once I'm unbanned....stupid curiosity clicking on the 'rob this bank' tab.
Also...
So I just killed the Fire Dragon in the labs under Dipan Castle. Out the window and talk to a messenger, who says I need to be 35 and kill Ifrit to continue in that area.
Where can I train at 18? I know I can't take the Tonberry boss yet (haven't tried, but his stats outweigh mine by a lot). I...
Same could be said for Tifa in VII with those sweet, sweet ps1 graphics. :suki:
As for Lulu, I think she's represented just fine in the storyline, but very well in battle. She was a beast if you took the time to travel her sphere path. My first playthrough I never used the magic too much, but...
I wasn't trying to imply anything. You took what I said as a death threat apparently, and not as criticism referring to judging someone else way to play the game.
Your opinion is clearly welcome on a public forum. As is mine. I wasn't trying to prove anything, as you seem to think I was. I was...
Someone been drinking hater-aid? You're making the mistake of thinking he's playing the game the way you think it should be played. Everyone's game is different. As he mentioned above, after multiple times through the game, you can always try things earlier than you would normally get the...
I'm about to replay XII, and with one of the files I'll make it a 100% completion file, I estimate about 300 hours or so will go into it.
