V and VI were both equally hard for me, V i kept dying on the optional bosses that i encountered (damn them) and i keep getting stuck on kefka in Vi, plus i decided to just start over in VI because im going to get all of the optional stuff that i missed in the beginning...

mine are the cannoneer, the gladiator, the summoner, and the ranger.

I loved all of the final fantasy games, especially viii because its the best hands down. but the one that probably gave me the most trouble, was X-2! the missions were sometimes very vague when they gave you clues on what you were supposed to do, and some of the optional bosses in side quests...
