No, I tend not to rename the characters now. Before hand, I used to change them to different names, but I guess as I grew older I prefered to keep the original names.

Hmm, this is going back quite some time really. But I used to use something called "PSX Changer 2" on my old PS1 to play imported games. You could try that, although I'm not sure how easy it will be to get hold of it now, but it's definately worth a try.
