Never did I ever think I would be posting relationship questions on a video game forum. However my friend and family base are at a loss at how to advise me further on this situation, each giving me different opinions. I figured perhaps asking a bunch of complete strangers in a controlled...
I liked Serah so much that when I was really, genuinely upset! I liked Serah from the original XIII and XIII-2 made her even better. She is probably one of the strongest and most likeable female leads in the series after Tifa, imo.
I name her Sarah because I hated the name Dagger, re-naming her back to Garnet seemed silly and I like the whole pre-FF reference to Princess Sarah so...maybe this time I'll name her "Serah" just to be a smart-ass ^_^
I blub each and every time I watch that scene, and every time I listen Seto's Theme. Bugenhagen's speech to Red is also very real: that moment when you realise your parents/grandparents aren't going to be around forever, and one day you will have to be without them.
He seemed quite sweet with her when they met again in the Forest Owls train, but after he found out about her and Seifer I think he was majorly put off...
If the R=U theory applied to the situation, Ultimecia didn't remember who she was anyway, having gone completely stark raving mad. Hence why she never recognised Squall or even her former self. Which would've made it utterly lame it R=U was true, because it would've been one of the most...
The song itself is awful, I'll listen to it purely for nostalgic purposes...but nevertheless it is an iconic piece of FF history (first vocal theme song) and for a first attempt I don't think it was that bad, if you compare it to the themes songs they're spewing out now.
I go about every 3 months for a trim and shape. My hair is long and in a very basic style. I'm a wash-dry-and-brush kind of girl, don't have time for fancy do's.
I used the 2-character-KO-KOTR-spam to kill Ruby. I made Cloud near invincible, and basically just W-Summon-Mimed KOTR over and over. Made a cup of tea, ate a sandwich, and read a book while fighting :)
I think it's a pretty good challenge, tests your speed strategy and low-level finesse. You can always do your levelling and side-quests after acquiring the weapon, so that you can defeat the final boss and/or the superbosses.
I think they are worth every cent, for two reasons:
1. They are very old, and are a piece of history.
2. They represent a time when painting was a fine art, a stark contrast to the haphazard "dabs of paint" found in so-called "abstract" art today. You try painting the Mona Lisa and see how far...
From what I can see, it's going to be a repeat of X-2: great gameplay, weak storyline. I would not reverse that, it's no good having a great story with poor gameplay, but I doubt it will fall into my top ten FF's. I think I'll wait for the price to drop or wait for someone who hated it to drop...
I've seen some references to Yuna being "half-Al Bhed, half human", namely FF wiki's character bio for her. Does this imply that Al Bhed are a completely different species? That they are not human? Or are they simply a different race with their own unique characteristics, i.e. the swirly pupils...
Gaston Leroux's "Phantom of the Opera" - an extremely enjoyable read I could not put down. It was humourous, sinister, and full of suspense, as the story runs completely differently to the musical version we are all familiar with. In fact, the musical seems so sweet and innocent after reading...
Blitzball is more dull than watching paint dry. I only did it to get Wakka's weapon crest/sigil (can't even remember which one it was). The beginning is frustrating, as your team sucks and winning is very difficult. Then when your team gets really good it's just plain boring because the...
