Final Fantasy 2 has one of the hardest leveling up systems I know. It made me have to sit and grind a lot between towns. Anyways it can take up to 100 uses of something before it levels up. There is a trick you can use which involves you casting commands over and over again and canceling them...
To me the ribbon is just another thing you can brag about. A lot of useless stuff is much harder to get then the best equipment. I'm not saying everything else was easy, but I'm saying some of the weaker weapons and accessories were harder for me to get then the Zodiac Spear or Masamune. Hell...
Wow I can't believe this thread is still up. Good job everyone!
Another thing I would like to add about when I use a walkthrough is when I'm at the end of the game and I just want to peak to see if there is anything I missed. Its just me making a checklist and if I don't have it, I will look...
I've always just skipped fighting shiva until later in the game. However on my first playthrough I did as you are doing, I switched to four black mages and nuked her I believe. Its a hard fight early on but if you come back it will be much easier.
I think the other item in the chest is an armor. While its very good the Shield is better and the armor can be found else where. So if you want my advice, take the Zodiac Escutcheon and it will help out in a long run.
I kind of knew all the locations, cause hell there are like 1000 faqs about it, but I still selected yes cause it can be helpful. How long did it take you to get the information about it and did you use any resources?
All you need to beat the game is Zidane, Vivi, Steiner, and Garnet. You pretty much start with them on disk 1. Zidane is mandatory until Memoria, Garnet is a good healer, and Vivi and Steiner is just a good match up. Sure you will be using ethers but why not? Got a 99 ether problem to where you...
Quina is good for mighty guard, auto life, white wind, and the frog spell. If I remember right you can finish the frog catching game in the various swamps around the world and have frog drop do 9999 damage for a VERY little amount of MP. Twister isn't that bad either. There are a lot of good...
There are many ways to do it but all of them require a little training before hand. First off you want to morph a Ghost Ship in the underwater reactor. That will give you a guide book. Take that to a man in Kalm (last house on the right) and e will give you the underwater materia. Next you will...
During the storyline mode its important to kill the enemy before they run into you vehicles cause each time they do they take off characters HP. Not so cool when you get to the boss afterwards and everyones hurt.
Also in the gold saucer wonder square, its important to kill them as they take...
I like seeing people use the help files better then google.
Anyways there are 4 huge materias. Each a different color and four different areas to find them.
Huge materia 1 - north corel where you jump on the train.
#2 - In the last Fort Condor battle.
#3 - in the submarine quest. You have...
I didn't mind it. I liked biker a lot better though. If you ever want to play through them again you can do so in the gold saucer. Its fun on disk two cause it can throw you to different parts of the GG by what directions you take going down the hill.
In the end Yuna is the best cause she is the ONLY character to have summons. You can say that other characters individual overdrives are better but with every Aeon with a full bar and Yuna... she can deal much more damage within time.
Also when you max out the sphere grid, every character can...
There are many levels on the Gunners gauntlet that you don't have to do. I think though you have to at least beat his high score to get That counts as a %'age I think.
My memory is good. I remember when I first got the game. I thought 'oh a memory card? Wow that would be cool in Super Mario Brothers 3!'. It amazed me on how long final fantasy VII was. You know a lot of games previous were long but geez not 40 hours or more. Anyways I thought by the end of...
The game is easy to move through but still some people would find it hard to play any RPG. This game is a great start off to RPGs. My first time playing was when I was 12 or 13 years old and I had trouble beating some bosses. I didn't know you could destroy those pyramids reno cast on you and...
1. find out cloud needs to cross dress in the far north of the town.
2. Go to the clothes shop and talk to the clerk.
3. Go to the bar and talk to a drunk man.
4. go back to the clothes shop.
5. Go get a wig at the big bro body building shop.
After this you can get into Dons but if you...
I choose to sneak in. I go up the stairs all the way until that 1 item you can get. Then I turn around and walk down them to go barge in. So yeah like Ryushikaze I do both. Might seem stupid but I get everything in the game. Even if it is just 1 item I might miss.
I've done most of them. Got past the time they named an Elixer differently. I rushed online and asked if I didn't have any elixers would the item go in my inventory as the new name. Turns out no it wouldn't. Its like the megalixer you find in gaia cliff called "Last Elixer". It would be cool if...
I know where your at but its been a while since I've played (3years). Anyways what I had to do is get a key from a moogle in Rab. He gave me a sluice key and allowed me to continue hunts down in the sewers. After some time though you will be able to open up the objective to finish the other side...
