My boss went home at 1pm today, some 6 hours before I'm due to leave, and I'm in charge. This means forum browsing, listening to music and reading my book!
I've managed to get fit and healthy in a very short space of time. I have always been quite interested in exercise and stuff, but I do tend to go through phases with it. When my girlfriend and I got together we would go out for meals, a lot. Coupled with lifts to work thanks to her (I've always...
Pronounced like "Robbie dee bee", it's supposed to be like, an amalgamation of my 3 names, with my initials being RDB. It probably was spelled "Robbiedeebee" at one point, but I remember my brother and I were playing some old golf game on the Mega Drive years ago, and not having enough...
I have beaten 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13.
You'll notice that aside from spinoffs and MMOs, FF6 is the only one missing. There's no real reason for this. About two summers ago I went on a big completionist binge and finished 1, 2, 4, 5, just to say I had. When it came around to 6, I lost...
Which version are you playing?
I agree with you. Cecil's transition is one of the high points of the entire series. FFIV was a massive step towards the Final Fantasy games we all love. The storytelling aspects, as well as the rich cast of well written characters are basically what make FFs VII...
I think FFXIII is a good game in general, but a very poor Final Fantasy game.
My biggest issues are with the battle system and Crystarium.
One of the biggest drawing points of the series for me is the system by which my characters develop and grow; some games are better than others. I love...
I've started FFVII again. I've got a few things to check off the bucket list, including beating Emerald/Ruby, and having everyone's final limits (never bothered with Aerith's before).
What on earth did I just look at!? (the pics that is)
I like the idea of it, and the amount of money they have raised so far is impressive. I can't see it being anything more than a total letdown though. I mean, there's professional actors and professional actors.
I think it's best just to...
I've heard a few people mention this, and I always thought it would be a great idea.
Otherwise, yeah, I think I'd be excited for another spinoff. I'd have fairly low expectations, but I think a project would have potential to be great.

I usually have Terra and Locke on the periphery of my main party too, as I see them as very central characters. I like Cyan too, because I like his theme.
I love reading other people's stories about their favourite memories. Keep them coming guys!
One of my first great memories goes back to Sonic 3 & Knuckles. A friend and I had one of each game, and used to take turns in borrowing the other's game so we could both play the full game. One...
Oh my. I am so bad at this, my list of games to play (and replay) is so big. Time is just so tight these days.
The list includes (but is not limited to)
Pokémon White > White 2
Pokémon X/Y (when released)
FFVI
FFVII (replay)
FFVIII (replay)
FFXIII (replay/trophies)
FFXIII-2
Red Dead Redemption...
Hands down, it would be Lucifer's Call. AKA, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. Honestly, even with the FF games thrown in it would break my top 3 RPGs I think. I just love the tone, the minimalist story, the battle system, the difficulty, and the music. It's an amazing game. I can't wait for Shin...
I usually bite my tongue when the odd or silly looking Pokémon are revealed. Every gen, without fail there have always been enough badass Pokémon to keep me happy.
I'm actually really looking forward to Pokémon X & Y. I completely skipped the Black & White generation, but I bought them recently...
We went to see The Wolverine yesterday, which honestly wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing. Hugh Jackman is always brilliant, and with that in mind it was always going to be at least mildly entertaining.
Overall I'd say it was better than X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but not as good as say, X-Men...
It's all part of the challenge in my opinion. The Tales Series system works alright, but I think it encourages you to avoid the random encounters for me.
When they get really really frequent when you're lost, as others have said, that can be pretty annoying. But again, it's what makes it Final...
I wish there were a 4th disc!
Anyways, I haven't played FFXI or FFXIV, the MMOs just don't interest me at all.
Then, I haven't played many of the spin-offs. Crisis Core, Dirge of Cerberus etc. I have played FFX-2, which was ok. I own FFXIII-2, but I haven't played it yet.
That aside, I have...
I've clocked up over 100 hours on more than one file on FFX. I've only broken the 100 hour mark on one other game, FFVIII.
The most I've ever clocked up would be around 120 hours though I think.
I always get much further than I expect to in the buggy before it breaks down. It also depends on your camera angle I suppose as to how far it looks like you've gotten past it. Surely you can't get as far as the ford in the river which leads to Nibelheim?
