Final Fantasy isn't a random video game! The blasphemy! *gasp* But I get what you're saying. Would be pretty funny if suddenly all these big names started doing voice acting for FF games.
I honest to goodness thought the female lead in Meet Joe Black (Claire Forlani) was Yuna's voice actress. I...
Square-Enix seem to be associating "maturity" with "wearing less clothing". It may also be their attempt to cater to a wider audience than they did with previous titles. What's the easiest way to draw in the majority of casual gamers? Scantily clad women. X-2, for all it's inadequacies, still...
Rydia has a completely different outfit as an adult. She wears a shirt-dress type thing as a child and then her racy green number with the bat wing sleeves as an adult.
I've always had a problem with the Tifa-Rinoa-Garnet lookalike issue. To me they really do all look the same. Hell, Garnet even has her hair tied at the bottom like Tifa's. Tifa's AC outfit is a black version of Rinoa's.
But then again consider IV, V and VI...Amano's heroines were all thin...
Is it just me, or is Serah's new character design for XIII-2 almost identical to Porom in IV: After Years? When I saw this picture of Porom I initially thought it was Serah from XIII-2!
FFVII: The scene at the Honey Bee Inn with Mukki, Cloud and the group of guys in the hot tub. Random doesn't even begin to describe it!!
FFIV: All the Star Wars moments.
- "IT'S A TRAP!!!~"
tells Cecil: "You must go to the = "Luke, you must go to the Dagobah System."
The Mythril Brothers'...
Don't get me wrong; I love Rydia, but if you think about it Rosa was the prototype for all the most popular and beloved leading FF heroines: Aerith, Yuna, Garnet...all gentle white mages who need to get rescued at least once ;-)
You can't honestly say you don't like rescuing the pretty love...
I liked them equally - Rydia was Square's first real attempt at a "strong" female, and Rosa was still in the classic 90's RPG damsel box. Though looking at the things you didn't see Rosa do, she's a pretty brave woman. To follow the man you love into the desert alone on a hunch that he just...
Dragon Mage, the only drawback to that strategy is you lose time having to heal yourself, as Hecaton is the only eidolon who can't heal! That's what annoyed me the most (apart from the sex noises). I found him most effective against single enemies. If I summoned him against a group they'd all...
You have a valid point there. It's pretty much the same as "the devil made me do it". The first thing you must learn when dealing with such a disorder is to not use it as a crutch when you mess up in life. Learning to take full responsibility for your actions, regardless of whatever disorder you...
That IS offensive, especially to people who actually have the disorder. For some it is a very delicate and sensitive issue, and having a condition like Aspergers is NOT "cool" in any way, and those who think it is clearly have no knowledge of the suffering a person with the condition goes...
Like I said previously, I am no psychiatrist, and the situation differs depending on each child. For example, a child who is so hyper-distracted that he prevents other children from learning as well as himself, could do with therapy to first address why he is hyper, then medication to help ease...
It's very easy for someone without these afflictions, or an outsider looking in, to make an opinion if you have not experienced the suffering that these conditions bring.
I have had what I believed to be severe OCD for over 13 years, in fact as far as I can remember as a child, and my parents...
Go for IX. Most unappreciated FF imo. I'm also dying to play it again, but my PS2 decided to break and I can't get the emulator working on my laptop :( :(
Pandaemonium. It's the Castle of Hell, come on! Plus you get to fight Beelzebub, Ashtaroth, etc. Loved the scene in the DOS version where it comes out of the ground, as if to say "Yeah, the world's gonna go to sh*t now!"
Who was your favourite Eidolon? Putting into consideration appearance, power, gestalt, etc.
Mine is Odin, the falling petals and his transformation into Sleipnir is so beautiful, even his fighting form is awesome.
My runner-ups would be Bahamut, simply for his incredible strength (I found him...
