Lol, I love watching this show, that is... when I remember too. I agree though, I does remind me a lot of Spike TV's MXC which is hilarious.
Anyway, seeing some of the competitors do an immediate face plant on the very first obstacle makes it well worth the watch from beginning to end.
This game does look like it's gonna be pretty damn good. I've always been a fan of Mario Brothers games. In fact, it's the only reason I actually still purchase Nintendo Consoles... Although, the Wii doesn't really appeal to me, I may just have to break down and buy one.
I remember reading up on this game... looks interesting, but I doubt it'll be the turning point for the PS3. No, it's gonna take a lot more main stream titles that are exclusive to the console (i.e. FFXIII) to do that - That and a serious price cut as we are already seeing with a slimmed down...
I could swear there was another tread like this in here... Ah well, can't find it.
*on topic*
Doing only what's necessary for completing the storyline, I'd say it was a little over 50 hours.
Doing everything - Storyline, Hunts, Marks, Sidquests, all characters maxed out and all…...
There's soo many threads like this one already in here...
If you enjoy playing a game with a good set of characters and a great storyline, then yes, I think you'll enjoy this one. However, the graphics are nothing like FF9 and certainly nothing like XII - If you're a graphics matters in my game...
If I were to answer this question a couple of years ago, I would have said no, let it be. But after seeing the FFVII opening sequence remastered for the PS3, I wouldn't mind seeing this game being completely redone, but only the graphic as well as added voice-overs.... Maybe added sidequests or...
I swear I posted in this thread a long, long, long time ago.
Anyway, I got this user name years ago from a (game) code hacking forum I belong to (back before it had a forum) where everyone nicknamed me, The Final Fantasy Fan. So, I liked it and just shortened it to F. F. Fan... Nothing...
Wow, that was pretty damn good. I have to say that I'm thoroughly impressed with the amount of detail they put into that one... Can't wait for part 2. ^_^
I never liked using reflect in any of them as it could either help or hurt you depending on when it’s in place, or… you forget it’s in place. >.< However, I didn’t find Carbuncle completely useless as he had some pretty useful - learned juntionable abilities (VIII). Anyway, I did find reflect...
......Game Over. :P

No, in all seriousness, Yuna was the right one... as it was meant to be.
Rikku...? No.
Meh, she was alright, not one of my favorites though. Anyway, my first impressions of her was… She’s cold, feisty and at times, downright rude, especially towards Tidus. Overall… I didn’t care all that much for her, not did I use her that much.
Meh, I didn’t really see him as loud, well... maybe in the beginning all the way up until Luca he was. After that, I always saw him as a whiney individual, but as it’s already been said several times, he had good reason to be.
My opinion of Tidus was pretty much the same, I didn’t care...
She did seem to fall a little fast for him… She also seemed very trusting as if she already knew him well before they met. Anyway, I agree, this one did seem like a love at first sight type of story and I also agree that Tidus was a little slow in picking up on Yuna’s feelings..... No, scratch...
I completely agree with X seeming like it was the last Final Fantasy, it certainly seemed like the last “True” one in the series for me. I enjoyed FFXII as a game in whole, but that was it... XII never left that lasting impression like all the others had in the past. In short, you could clearly...
I haven't tried it on the PS2 yet as my PS1 consoles still work pretty well... most of the time. Anyway, I'm not surprised to hear this since the PS2 in a sense emulates the PS1's hardware while playing PS1 titles on it. That and this game is also a port over from a much older and different...
An affiliation with a popular gaming site would be an ideal scenario, but I have to agree that I doubt it would happen anytime soon. I’m sure their affiliation requirements are pretty impossible to attain at the moment, no to mention FFF would probably be at the bottom of a very long list of...
Wow... It is true.
Just for yucks, I started a new game with a clean file... only giving myself (1) Adamantine, (4) Dragon Fangs and (12) Pulse Ammos, then headed into the town of Balamb and was able to upgrade Squall's weapon immediately to Lion Heart...
Here's what I found online... So I...
Eh...? First disc...?
How’s that possible without cheating? I’m positive you need the Weapons Monthly Magazine: First Issue - to upgrade all of their final weapons (as well as the appropriate items needed). This magazine isn’t available until the Laguna / Lunatic Pandora Dream...
Familiar… I don’t believe it’s needed for these items to show up, as far as I can remember, Esthar is the only location were HP-J Scroll, Str-J Scroll, Vit-J Scroll, Mag-J Scroll and the Spr-J Scroll can be purchased. Anyway, I think it takes two of each to be refined into a Mag Up, Spd Up...
