I don't know, I quite like the mystery surrounding Zidane's escape. During the ending, just before the credits, the final lines of dialogue (presumably between Zidane and Garnet) ask how he escaped, to which his answer is simply he didn't have a choice. In some ways, I think a sequel detailing...

Considering how good the FFIX soundtrack is overall, it's difficult to choose a best piece. But I'd have to say Swords of Fury and Silver Dragon stand out to me. Also, the Piano Collections version of Melodies Of Life sounds excellent, but I'm having a really hard time learning it!

It's a decent strategy, but since it only has 50% chance of inflicting any status effects it can be a bit of a gamble. The only boss I ever use this on when playing through is Tiamat, mainly just for the silence because Twister can deal an absurd amount of damage even with good magic defense.
