I always make him "deals" (that I touched vaguely upon).
For example, I absolutely forced him to plow through Ico and Shadow of the Colossus (because IMO, he'll get more out of those than by playing UC3 all day), and told him if he played a decent amount of those games every once and a while...
I seem to have high standards for annoying characters. I can understand why some people think Tidus, Hope and Vanille are annoying, but when they go off about it and refuse to play the game because of those characters, I just say "Really? They're not that experience-crushing..."
I liked Hope as...
... says the company that is planning to release Final Fantasy Versus XIII but is taking more time than necessary to make it happen.
If the console lifespans were shortened, what would they do with Final Fantasy Versus XIII? Just redo it for the PS4? Or still work on it for the PS3 when it's...
My little brother has clearly become addicted to Uncharted 3 at only 10 years old, and plays/does nothing else unless I literally strike a deal with him that I'll let him play Uncharted 3 for an extended period of time after. At his age, I was a victim of being addicted to certain videogames and...
Valkyrie Profile certainly looks interesting. I usually only start game franchises from the beginning if it's required to fully grasp the story, but even though Valkyrie Profile 1 is required to be played, I checked out the PSP port of the first called Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and it looks...
Heavy Rain is a really easy platinum. All you need to do is beat the game once (for the overall experience) then just google the trophies you don't have and play the game the way it describes to you in order to get them. That game is impossible to 'suck at', really.
and in the future...
Why would I start with Breath of Fire 3 and what's with Valkyrie Profile 2? Do I need to start with the first to get the story in order or are they very loosely connected like Final Fantasy games? D:
But for more info, I do have a GameCube, PSP, PS2, PS3 and of course a computer.
Since there hasn't been any really good Final Fantasy games recently, I'm kind of missing that sense of epic adventure Final Fantasy gives me. I absolutely adore the feeling of the character development and the locations. Just the overall experience. I don't want to go back to the old Final...
Just imagine:

Character booster is for children who decide to buy this because of how famous it is, realize how old/long the game is, they get turned off because "ohgod I need to level up in this game! :'(" Thus, they use the character booster. What an awful feature. It will be a horrible temptation for new...
Wow, I think this is actually very interesting. It should give people who have a hidden hobby for cosplaying a spotlight opportunity. I'm sure everyone's got many different reasons and this looks like it will be an interesting read.
I'm at least happy Square Enix made up their minds (maybe) about what conditions in which they would make a remake. This tells me that Square Enix understands that they'd have to be capable of making a remake that is better than the original, and not a stripped down Final Fantasy XIII-2-style...
I'd like to see a return of Final Fantasy XII's Yiazmat, but not neccessarily in XIII-2. I think it'd be more exciting to see Yiazmat in a (better) and more popular FF game. Maybe Versus XIII DLC? (He'd undoubtedly be easier because Square wouldn't dream of out-bossing the original Yiazmat or...
What do you do when you experience a game-breaking event while playing a videogame that totally isn't your fault, which prevents you from progressing or at least strongly cripples you from the experience?
Sometimes game developers will accidentally look over certain glitches or gameplay...
I'll step in and support that XIII-2 and XIII were related, but I can definitely reinforce the fact that they're related in such a nonsensical way that reduced my feelings of the entire storyline of XIII. There was so much potential in XIII-2 that could have made it a great sequel, but obviously...
How to play: Post a picture of a random product that you could find at a store. (One picture per post.) and you must post a statement about the product above you, no matter what it is. I.E.: If you have any relation to that product, have ever used it before or if you like/dislike it.
I'll start:
Ugh, we don't need a third installment in the trilogy. They pretty much blew it with XIII-2 as I have yet to push myself through the whole thing without slamming my head against a desk. They could have made a true sequel to XIII that actually had something to do with the original and wasn't a...
I looked at the video's thumbnail and the title and your reaction to it, already knew the feeling. Didn't even have to press play and now I'm not even going to.
If there's anyone on this planet that should die right now...
That does sound indeed suspicious. I was about to say it could be a region-lock issue or something, but you should always be careful to know you're getting an official copy. It may sound offensive or discriminating, but I don't always trust buying games or technological items from eBay stores...
