Final Fantasies 1-6, 8, 9, and 12 all exceeded 7 in quality, IMO.
Condition met, Square. (Not that I care for a VII remake, but it's gotta be better than XIII-3, XIII-4, XIII-5, etc.)
I'm a fairly open-minded guy and have crushed on all types to be honest... A ginger, several african-american girls, tons of brunettes, chubby, skinny, average... But it's more about personality and how they carry themselves than anything else.
About the 'overrated' thing, there's a reason people say 'overrated', at least if they define it the way that I do. I've played a pretty damn huge selection of games from a variety of genres, DEFINITELY NOT the least of which being RPGs, as that's my favorite genre in all of gaming. So when I...
I haven't played XIII-2, actually. I got XIII in preparation for it since XIII was cheap, and I can, without a doubt, confirm that XIII sucks pretty badly from what I've played and probably didn't deserve a second mention, let alone a second game. Though the sounds of XIII-2 made it out to be...
I own a 3DS. I wasn't planning on getting one until a ton of good third-party games got released, but thankfully, when I got it, it was of no cost to me as a birthday present. Presently speaking, the 3DS kind of lacks in all areas except for technical specs. Let's face it, playing a portable...
Not much news to me. They registered the trademark for Final Fantasy XIII-3 around last Christmas, pretty much the exact same time Squeenix announced they had only just started working on the actual game part of Versus XIII. I guess it took them about 7 years just to make purty cutscenes.
I kinda feel the same way about DAO. I loved it, but the dialog system really felt like a step back to KotOR, Jade Empire, Baldur's Gate, Fallout, whatever. Not that that's a completely bad thing, it just I didn't feel like I had a great selection of choices in dialog in DAO like I did in those...
To know what FF was at it's peak, IV, VI, and IX.
If you're one of those people who are playing them just to get in with what's 'cool', but not necessarily good, FF VII. And I doubt that most people have even played it, or they wouldn't speak so highly of it, IMO.
Dang, I still need to beat the original.
But, by the graphics on the website (especially the silhouettes in the edges of the blood-dragon's wings) it looks like we're looking at a massive game with tons of companions to party hard with. :P
