Awesome, I hope you're enjoying it and it sparks even more interest in the rest of the series too! There always seems to be at least 1 character in every FF game that catches a gamers attention big time and you connect with or sympathize with over all the others. For me it was kinda Red XIII...
Going off of Dionysos's post of the map and points made, I have to agree that the geography of Spira makes it very hard for the cities to be erected inland, mainly because there's not much "inland" available. It almost seems like Spira would be comparable to something like our Japan, or United...
Eh, I don't think I would ever read a Final Fantasy book that was fashioned after a game. I don't think I'd even read a Final Fantasy novel that "wasn't" a game either. I think Final Fantasy was meant for gaming. Sure Advent Children was good, and all, but I'd rather sit down and immerse myself...
When I first played through the game I named Zidane and Vivi after myself and then my Spanish name. But after I got deeper into the game, that kinda seemed stupid so I found the Namingway Card and changed them back to their original names respectively.
Everyone else's names I kept the same and...
I am a huge fan of FFIX and would not change hardly anything in it....EXCEPT:
An "aspect" of Necron.
To the casual gamer and one who may not look deep into hidden message and slight remarks throughout the game, someone may thing Necron came from virtually nowhere! Which is basically 99%...
Congrats on the promotion Dionysos! Enjoy the new job and the fun that is the Admin CP! :p I know the other Admins will guide you in the right direction! :busta:
it is definitely one of the best games, but it's also one I think a lot of people will not play due to it being an older game and the graphics being less than appealing unless of course they fire it up on one of the newer versions of the game like a handheld. It's got it all: amazing characters...
Watching the movie Southpaw now, doing some laundry and gotta work 3rd shift tonight. Just 1 day more of work, then a military drill weekend before I get a day off again. So mostly just relaxing until 10pm-ish.
I was going to actually say "inspired" in the What's Your Mood thread until I saw this topic right below it because I'm actually inspired today.
Watching the movie Southpaw, just inspiration to get out and make the most of your life even when certain circumstances make it tough.
As of now I only own an Xbox One, Playstation 2, and there's a Wii buried somewhere in my basement for when kids come over for a get-together. I've had a lot of different consoles over the years such as an N64, PS1, Gamecube, and Genesis. Whenever I stopped playing the consoles I usually traded...
Relaxing.
Worked 14 days in a row, with a couple doubles here and there so finally got a day off to enjoy at home and it's a beautiful day out. Definitely in a relaxing mood from sun-up to sun-down.
I don't mind it, and I'll eat it on road-trips, or when I work a double shift at work, but I really do hate eating it more than twice a week. my wife won't touch it at all. The closest she'll come to eating it will be Subway if you count that. So nah, fast food is ok, as long as it's not over-done.
Most likely just hanging around the house relaxing and doing yard work a good part of the day, and then going out downtown with some friends before I have to work a 16 hour shift tomorrow night.
Been inspired by the Nike+ Running App on my phone lately as weird as that may sound. Yes, an app inspired me. I know Shu is on it on my friend's list and I see him and others running farther distances more often than I so I'm motivated and inspired to get back into running more to stay healthy...
I guess now with being married I don't really have any rules for "our" room now. We keep it clean, try to keep it tidy between military and school work. Our only thing is that usually whoever is last up out of bed, is the one who makes the bed the next morning.
Woke up with both my Husky dogs laying in my room. Just seeing their innocence, playfulness and loyalty every day makes my day and I love days off where I can spend the day with them.
Music was my main downloading item. I have a lot of it, and I haven't don't it in about 4 to 5 years. It's not that I got worried or anything, it just hasn't been a priority for me anymore. I had used everything from the original Napster, to Kazaa, to Frostwire and Limewire. A little bit of...
I think Brother's reactions and emotions toward Yuna are more like how a normal person would be around a star singer or athlete. Yuna is considered somewhat of a celebrity at this part of her life as she journeys to defeat Sin. Almost everyone in Spira knows her and wants to see the new possibly...
