Great use of your first post, Kupo... I'm half and half on this. I think it would be awesome to reminisce and relive the game all over again. I would be great to learn more of the storyline, I felt that a lot of VIII was left untold. On the downside, they run risk of screwing the voices up...

I too have been playing racing games since the days of GT1, and I must say, I'm pretty good. I'm not using a wheel. Just DS3. How far into Gold Standard are you? I know the seasonals can be farmed, and the Lightweight K Cup is worth more XP (50k) and B-Spec can be done through B-Spec Grinder...

Yea, with the PS2, the technology was far enough ahead for the characters to look normal enough. I suppose that's why they went back to out-of-proportion characters for IX
